It would be MUCH better for ANA and the customer to begin the checkin process 3.5 to 4hours prior instead of 3."

This caused over 3.5 hour late arrival into Istanbul. This caused me to miss onnnection flight. There was very poor information or guidance by staff once we arrived into airport. I had to walk long long distances from the gate without assistance. I had requested wheelchair assistance considering I just had spinal cord surgery and In need of assistance. I was forced to stay over night in Istanbul and waited over 12 hours next day in airport for next available flight to Thessaloniki. I missed my brothers wedding night and could not be his best man for wedding from ordeal which was not fair! I also payed a premium price close to 1000k USA dollars for flight I could of booked many tickets with such a long layover and extra expenses buying a visa and food for half the fare I payed. This was not fair especially when a plane is diverted for medical emergency! To top it all off being a medical doctor I loaned and assisted staff with passenger and offered my consultation. services to emergency medical physician whom was called by crew for help and finally which reccomended to divert flight to Manchester to assist the passenger In crisis! Also will this incident to all my friends after going back to USA. Very very bad experience. Sat down 24 hours at Airport without food and sleep. Mostly will file a case against Airlines."

Someone said there are only 70 passes for the entire plane. - Similar experience with “free wifi” Guangzhou’s Bayun airport if you don’t have a Chinese simcard in your phone. - Navigating China Southern’s website for online check-in is a nightmare."

As we took off we shared our concern for our connection in Guangzhou, after managing to find someone able to speak and understand English (unbelievable on an international flight) we have been told that would be fine and eventually worst case scenario there is another flight during the day. When we arrived we have been told nothing (even though we shared our concern from the beginning, they didn’t care at all, connection from the same company), when we went out of the plane we ask a crew member in the exit corridor who replied like annoyed of the question that’s fine take next on the left and next on the right (more with gesture than with an English language) when we arrived after running at the transfer gate we asked about the connection to Sydney the first staff told us that the gate was already closed and it’s too late, we then asked what to do : go in this queue and didn’t want to speak anymore. When we arrived at the desk we have been told gate is closed, wait on the side we’ll see later, we asked when and have been replied later....after 30min we have been told that there is no other flight before the day after (same company, different speech...) and wait again....there is another flight the day after in the morning with 6 seats available only...for the rest we don’t know we have to check but it’s gonna be hard because it’s the high season : Unbelievable as we were 15-20 people in this situation...after a couple of hour we have been offered to travel via Vietnam with a stop of 9 extra hours before having another flight of 9hours if we didn’t accept this one they didn’t know... Never ever again with this company and this airport..."

And thing this was informed to the China Southern officials so that they could arrange something for me. I requested them to put me into another flight for which i was ready to pay the whole amount but no one listen to my request & i had to wait so long. I was amazed to see that no one was keen to understand my problem at both he airports i.e. Auckland Airport & Ganzhaou Airport. Apart from this the behavior of your officials was so rude & arrogant it made me feel as if i was a slave or some kind of culprit. Due to the ignorance & laid back attitude on your part i couldn't reach my destination on my time. Seriously it took me "24 hrs Extra" to reach my destination & as a result of which i couldn't perform the cremation. I was pissed off by the service; complete ignorance by the staff/officials of ur airlines. I wasn't expecting this kind of treatment from a reputed company like you. I request you guys to look into this matter seriously and try to take some corrective measures so that this thing won't happen in future with someone else."

Punti negativi: "We were left on the plane for over 6 hours without taking off before a 13 hour flight. The captain only came on the intercom once. All he said at that time was "sorry for the delay,";no explanation. The flight attendance kept saying 20 mins. The captain locked the crew door so the crew also had no idea what was going on. The 6+hour delay wasn't the problem. Things happen. The problem was the non existing communication. I read the the regulations for delays like that on their website and it stated that after 4 hours they have to give us the option to get off the plane. That didn't happen until 30 mins before we took off. It also stated that the captain needs to keep us updated every 30 mins. That again, didn't happen. People were hysterical, for obvious reasons. Ithe was the worst flight I have ever taken."

Worse, the over-ground delivery of said luggage took too long: one third of our stay in the Philippines. I knew we'd wear the same clothes for almost 24 hours straight, didn't expect to do so for three additional days."

We were placed in Row 63, which is the LAST row on the plane and does not recline. For a 15 hour flight this seating should not be used. It is completely unreasonable to think people will be ok not reclining, and honestly the seats felt more straight up than the normal seats. After discussing it with the crew for half an hour on a full flight they were able to move us to other seats. But were unable to move us to business or first for a discount. End point: these seats should not be used! It was so miserable even thinking we might get stuck with them. And if they do stick people there you should be comped, that was not worth the same fare everyone else payed for coach."

No snacks.They can do better, if they want to compete with the gulf airlines. Baggage took about 45 minutes to arrive at LAX. Very glitchy entertainment system"

So it means that i could not go inside, so i got out already. - The flight today from Guangzhou to Ha noi was delayed 1.5hours. It was really terrible experience with the airlines. The food was bad."

A travel agency was able to switch my friends flights, only to be blocked at his gate by an uninformed Xiamen agent saying he needed a visa for his layover in China, ultimately forcing him to buy a whole new ticket. Xiamen never answered, reimbursed, or recitified any of this. On the flight there, flight attendants had attitudes and SMOKED IN AIRPLANE, it STANK like an ashtray!!! And the food was the worst I ever encountered."

It was difficult to identify the right people to speak with and get clear assistance and direction in both Xiamen and Guangzhou."

Flight company communicated to progressive, who the flight was booked through, that the flight would be an hour late, so I received a text saying new departure time would be an hour later. This was false. After that hour the only messages we were getting at the airport were "flight is delayed, new departure time will be announced later". We arrived in Fuzhou 3 hours later, at 0300. The bus ride to the hotel provided by the airline is one hour each way, and our connecting flight was 0900, so it was a waste of time to try to get to the hotel. This means we just stayed in the airport all night and boarded our next 15 hour flight with no sleep, no shower and nothing to eat. Customer service for flight would announce turbulence every 3 minutes, even after plane was having turbulence for 10-15 minutes. This freezes entertainment. Etc etc. many other small disorganized things as well."

The volume on the media device in front of me was not working. The seats were terribly uncomfortable, my butt was hurting after the first hour."
