When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

When we got to Buenos Aires, our snowboard bags had not made it on the flight. Having to deal with Latam agents who hardly spoke English and were not helpful at all was intensity frustrating. Our bags finally got to our destination 2 days later. We had to drive to the airport to pick them up because they were not going to deliver them for another day, so we would have been 3 days without our snowboard gear. Latam did nothing to compensate us for the days lost no did they even seem to care. This is one of the most frustrating companies I have ever dealt with. I booked a return flight on Delta and lost $1000 just so I don’t have to deal with Latam again. Any money you save on a flight is not worth having to deal with this company. Stick with reliable American-based companies with customer service that is up to American standards."

Punti negativi: "I flew home on the LATAM600 Lima to LAX. My flight was suppose to leave noon on May 25. Unfortunately we were delayed until noon the following day, May 26. I understand these matters are out of attendant's control, but the changes were not communicated in English and everyone was extremely slow to get us situated. Our flight was officially canceled at 5:30 pm, and it took five more hours for the attendants to get us to a hotel. In the morning, the transportation was not communicated well that I missed the bus. During all this, they never tried to re-book anyone either. I would pass on flying LATAM in the future."

I told that I had bought the Gol + Confort that have exclusive compartment to the hand baggage and I had showed my receive of the seat but they sayd that this benefits do not exist and took my baggage of me to drop off. It was an absurd and the worse thigh was that when I arrived at my seat, the exclusive space for my baggage was there available for my baggage and I had to drop off because the employee of the Gol didn’t know about this benefit of Gol + Confort seat and didn’t check out if really wasn’t space to my baggage"

I get that the flight was only 3 hours long, but a sandwich is not dinner. And, it tasted horrible. I took 3 bites and couldn't stomach the rest. It was laughable that they offered wine with it. Had I realized this was the option, I would have brought my own food. My husband, who eats literally everything, couldn't even eat it, and it was a cheese sandwich. How hard is it to make a bad cheese sandwich? Well, apparently, GOL knows how to do it."

Navegantes (NVT) is a very small airport but connects to so many international flights. The city and many of the neighboring towns have become vacation hotspots. I personally fly this route twice a month these days So many bad things happen because of their poor on-time results and overbooking. The worst of which is missing your connections. This was the third time in 2 months that I’ve missed my connection in São Paulo to NYC. This time I purposely took an earlier flight 6:40pm so I would have no chance to miss my 11pm flight to New York. Then a 2 hour and 20 minute delay! My God ...really? Another missed flight. GOL you CAN do BETTER! ."

Those families bring kids, screaming kids to a section filled with higher fare paying customers. The FA in my section had such big hips, that she knocked my shoulder EVERYTIME she walked by. Not only that, everytime she did the courtesy reach over to grab empty cups from the middle seat, she hit me with her trash bag. Woulda been fine had I been awake, but I was trying to sleep in between the bouts of screaming from the devil possessed kids."

Food was terrible- even for Coach class - I don't always expect a gourmet meal, but BA was consistently good in the past, so I had positive expectations. My personal entertainment system did not work properly so I could not use it."

This changed the terminal I was to go to and the gate in which our Italian non-english speaking driver was to meet us at. This impacted seating selection, as well. Was forced to buy a premium seat when I realized the seating chart did not appear when I purchased the tickets. Also, flight was three hours late upon arrival. I understand safety is paramount and am grateful we eventually were able to find another plane, but it begs to speculate if things would have been smoother on a BA plane."

Reading lights also did not work. We had no options to pass the time for an eight hour flight. The crew was unconcerned about the problem. They seemed grumpy!! This plane should not be used for long haul flights."

The worst part about this flight was that I traveled with my girlfriend and when I went to check in, 24 hours before, there were only single seats left and there were so many open seats together that were considered “preferred” and had to pay $80 for just one “preferred” seat just so we can sit together on an 8 hour long flight. The seat didn’t even have any extra legroom or anything, it was a normal seat. American Airlines is just trying to squeeze money out of anything they can."

Even a complete stranger said to me, while waiting for the restroom, "I think that they hate us". One young male attendant was friendly and I believe that he was training. I fear for his training experience with this group of women. One of the lavatories was out of order {....on an international flight! Are you kidding!?!}. I think that they searched for the most antiquated plane that could limp across the ocean for this flight. Nine hours of pure discomfort. My poor 71 year old mother! Zero leg room. Tiny little screen for movies on the ceiling of the middle row. trays were not clean. We paid extra for our seats and wondered how bad the seats were for those that didn't. My mother and I determined that this was ranked as one of the worst flight experiences we have ever had. We are grateful for an amazing experience for our return flight or we would have reconsidered ever flying AA again."

I couldn't put both feet under the seat in front of me. The food was bad tasting and overly processed. We were fed a lean cuisine. The entertainment was from mounted tv's in the aisle. At this point, all planes crossing the ocean should have individual tvs for a customer to watch. They had this 15 years ago, how do they not have it now."

Punti negativi: "Everything else! We were first sold a British airlines flight, and then we got switched to American Airlines. I don't know if that is actually an okay thing for them to do. When we got onto to plane we were stuck on the runway for over 2 1/2 hours, where the outside temperature was 95 degrees and the AC in the plane didn't work. The delay was all due to a mechanical difficulty with the engine, this did not give us peace of mind when flying over the atlantic. while up in the air my newly wedded wife and I were hoping maybe we could watch a movie to help keep our minds off the creaking of the wings, the pool of sweat from the delay, and the grumpy flight attendants. Seeing as it was a 9 hour international flight, you would have expected some sort of entertainment. Maybe a personal TV.... nope. Maybe a community TV... nope. At least they have to have a radio....... nope. All we got were our two thumbs to twiddle. After a much needed nap. We woke up hoping maybe for a hot breakfast, but to put the cherry on top of some terrible ice cream, we got a mediocre cold breakfast. All in all I will not fly American Airlines again. I would happily and quickly pay double for any other airlines but them. It's such a poor reprisentation of our country."

Punti negativi: "I booked with British Airways and later noticed the plane was operated for American Airlines. The seats were cramped and the online entertainment was terrible. On an overseas flight, I expect in 2017 that there will be on-screen entertainment on the back of the seat in front of me. Instead, the movie was projected on a screen in the middle seats on an overhead that was about 10 rows away. Plus, you didn't get to pick your movie. You were stuck with the selections provided by the airline. I would have brought along my DVD player or laptop had I know this was going to happen. American flight crews are not as friendly and accommodating as European flight crews, which is why I try not to select an American carrier. Seats are less comfortable on American carriers also."
