She kindly moved me to the exit seat and made sure I was sitting in aisle seats for the rest of my three flights. All until boarding the process was quick and breezy. The flight attendants were incredibly friendly and courteous and were actually surprised when we only ordered one drink and one meal at a time! The food was phenomenal, especially for an aircraft meal, and no matter what I was in the mood for, they had it."

I had to talk to multiple people in Doha for access to the Oryx lounge there and they at the end, reluctantly let me use it."

They will call passengers who would miss thier connection for accommodation otherwise you are safe. Unfortunately I didt ask since they didn't call me, when I reached the gate from Chicago, it was closed."

At the airport they were very helpful in getting me onto another flight, as my flight had been delayed, which in turn would make me miss my second flight. All the cabin crews were very friendly. I think that the people that work for Cathay make up for a lot of what Cathay lacks in other aspects."

The boarding process could be a lot better if people were boarded according to rows. Food on most Cathay flights in general was pretty disappointing. I went to NAIA 1 because I checked the airport website beforehand. Once I was in the airport, people weren't sure if the flight mentioned in my ticket was the Turkish Airline flight because it said Philippine Airlines on my ticket. I also couldn't do an online check-in."

Our original flight was canceled 11 hours before departure so this gave us a layover in Turkey for 16 hours instead of our originally planned 4 hours. Turkish airlines personnel did not compensate us anything for the cancellation of the flight. This caused us to try and sleep in the airport which was packed because of hundreds of flight cancellations because of snow. There were still flights going out but Turkish Airlines chose which ones were more important and ours did not make the list."
