In my case I had several electronic items which I had to carry onto the aircraft and store awkwardly which created a major risk of my camera and laptop being damaged in the process. This is not the kind of service I expect from Qatar Airways, especially considering the exorbitant ticket prices."

I had a severe cold and that was certainly not something I needed, I tried to get some rest, but that was impossible. The seats are getting smaller and smaller, hardly any legroom whatsoever. Also, what I had planned on bringing on the aircraft as carry on (which was my work equipment, tablet/printer etc), I had to check in as luggage because it was "overweight" meaning more than 8 kg and pay ADDITIONAL $200 (in addition to the $100 I already paid for one suitcase). I've seen many passengers with "heavy" carry on, which they were apparently allowed to bring into the cabin without any problems. I had never had to pay for any carry on, and I am seriously considering using another airline for future business travel."

In TLV they told me my bag is small enough to take in the plane but then in the connection all of the sudden they said I have to pay 60 euro for it!! Take responsibility for decisions your company took! You are embarrassing yourself and most important- your customers. The behavior of the staff was also ugly, disrespectful, meant to put you under pressure to pay instead of trying to help and understand."

Once you are selected to participate in their scam you get to take a slip of paper to the ticketing counter which is the only place they can accept payment. After you pay you are given a receipt that must be taken back to the overworked check in agent (and jump the line in front of other waiting their turn) to get your boarding pass and luggage receipt. Flyer beware!"

But how passengers are supposed to convert 12kg into 7? And checked-in prices are outrageous"

Punti negativi: "Too strict on their carryon policy. On fight from Munich to Kiev, I was allowed to carry on board my full carryon with no weight limit and a personal item. From Kiev to Munich (same size aircraft) I was restricted to one carryon up to 7kg. I had to figure out how to put the excess weight into my checked carryon. I weigh 20kg less than average 6ft, 45 yr old."

We thought we paid for an extra luggage, but at the check in they said we hadn't. Boarding time my wife got a seat, then someone comes with the same number, then a third person came with the same number. The plane left 45 mn late. Food and beverages are on sale, which I found scandalous. As everyone wants to pay his lunch - Its diner hour - the crew takes ages to go to the end of the plane. I think the service lasted an hour. They were progressively blocking the access to toilets that were at the end of the plane. Also we realized that our return flight leaves at 5 am from Paris, how on earth would we want to come back at 5am ??? We would never ordered that, that means waking up at 2am... So this + our luggages that weren't taken in charge at the airport = there s a problem for reservations whether on kayak or Ukraine airlines. And It's possible that I made a mistake but honestly we fly 5 to 10 times a year since years, and never would I book a flight that is leaving Paris at 5 am. But c'est la vie.... I would appreciate if you could call us to help us fix this return flight. Thank you anyway. Merry Christmas to whoever read this :)"

Punti negativi: "I have never been experienced such terrible customer service in my life. Flew RT from NYC to Dubai. Flight from Kiev to NYC was delayed. The customer service rep who was the transfer agent when we arrived in Kiev from Dubai was so rude and dismissive. She could not tell us what time we were now going to arrive in NYC. I contacted the airline 2 months before our departure & asked for a window & a middle seat together. I received an email confirmation with the assigned seats I requested. However, the agent handed me tickets with two separate middle seats! I advised her that i had already reserved seats together months ago & she told me too bad, they can change our seats if they wanted to! I was completely shocked that they gave our seats away & at how rudely she treated us. We also tried to ask another agent at the gate what time we would now be landing in NYC (because we were clearly going to miss our connecting flight and needed to make arrangements) He was even more rude to us than the first agent! He said "how am I supposed to know that" then he said he couldn't help us and he needed us to move out of the line. When we asked if he could possibly look it up on his computer he completely ignored us & started talking to the person in line behind us. I was shocked at how bad we were treated & how little the agents knew. We finally found an information desk and one woman told us the flight time was 3 hours. When we told her that it took us over 9 hours to get to Kiev the week before, she then said it was an 8 hour flight. Needless to say it was actually a 10 hour flight. We were told that the reason the flight was delayed almost 4 hours was because the plane would not be getting to the airport until the new scheduled departure time due to delays in another city. Well we witnessed the plane in the gate more than 2 hours before we loaded. It was there the entire time, so that was obviously a lie. The seats were tiny and cramped and they do not have individual TVs. So uncomfortable for 10 hours! Since we missed our connecting flight in NYC, there were no more flights leaving that day so we had to stay the night and fly stand-by the next morning. All the flights were full due to it being the holidays so it took us over 45 hours to get home. Thank god that we were flying on Southwest Airlines from NYC to ABQ. They were so helpful and made sure to get us on whatever flight they could to get us home. Thankfully they had great customer service and were at least able to make the end of our journey a little bit better. I will tell everyone I know to NEVER fly with Ukraine Int. Airlines, no matter how cheap the ticket is. Spend a little more money on go on a reputable airline that will at a minimum have basic customer service. The boarding was a disaster as they kicked everyone out of the holding area and then made us all reenter after they checked us all off a list. We then stood in another line to board. We left even later than the new scheduled time."

Al ritorno invece abbiamo avuto il ritardo del volo Odessa Kiev che ci ha fatto perdere il volo della coincidenza per Roma. Questa situazione loro non potevano risolvere subito e ci hanno mandato tutti a Kiev! E li è successo un grande casino! Solo un sposrtello con una ragazza a gestire almeno 500 persone che stavano in fila con i problemi varii... insomma abbiamo perso tanto tempo e alla fine siamo arrivati a Roma.... però Fly ua è una compania aerea davvero incompetente."

Punti negativi: "Older plane so seats did recline slightly but no pillow, no screens, very difficult to sleep comfortably. They announced at 8 p.m the flight would be delayed until 10. While waiting for our dinner order in a resturant near the gate we saw on a screen that the plane was boarding and it was only 9 p.m. On board they served big sandwhichs and right after that came offering a hot meal. In the morning they ran out of egg meals and served something that appeared to be old."

It is a totally ridiculous and irresponsible situation for these businesses to create. I had to buy a whole new ticket to reach my destination. People at the Pegasus desk at the airport were beyond unhelpful and I've spent hours on the phone while on vacation trying to sort it out."
