I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

I was telling a friend today, Swiss Air started with drinks, gave us a Parisian baguette sandwich, gave us a healthy breakfast of yoghurt warm croissant butter jam orange juice, drinks again, and several passengers surrounding me got special attention, one woman with a baby, a disabled person, and a teenager that was 6'5" was relaocated by the flight attendant without him even asking to a bulkhead seat for more comfort. You don't see this kind a attention to detail on any US flights or US airlines, so I noticed it. It was as if I was traveling back in the 70's or 80's when Airlines would compete for our dollars with their service. I mentioned to my friend that if I had a choice and Swiss Air was one of the choices, I'd choose Swiss Air over any other airline."

The seats are tight but I was in the economy plus section so I thought she should have let me recline instead of physically moving my seat upright. And for someone who cared so much about the seat at dinner no one cared about me the rest of the flight. I slept through breakfast and no one left me a tray even. Plus, I had my seat back the rest of the flight including landing which I didn't realize. Isn't it their job to ensure our seats are in upright positions in case we forget or don't realize? After searching for an hour for a hotel (all were sold out in Boston) I called a friend who lives outside of Boston. No one gave me a taxi voucher because it was not to a hotel. LUFTHANSA customer service is the WORST!!!!!!!!"

When we arrived at Logan airport, we were told by TAP the flight is overbooked, but there is a chance we will get seats. We did get seats at the last moment, always kept abreast by TAP representatives. The flight was a non-stop flight, leaving at 6 PM arriving by 6 AM, far better than the connections with changes the day before."

These new seats are much narrower in width (not ideal, but fair enough, the airline wants to maximise capacity) and much harder to sit on for a long haul flight (much less ideal, after a couple hours, the seats were just plain uncomfortable, by the end of the flight really unbearable). The food (pasta) was not particularly good and not to the usual standard I expected for Lufthansa. Staff were efficient, but not particularly friendly. To be honest, I've had better flights in terms of comfort on the likes of Ryanair and Thomas Cook."

I think TAP overbooked everyone and seated us on purpose. The secondflight was delayed due to “bad weather” and it was perfectly nice outside. Shame on TAP. I’m sure other people are complaining."

People waiting had to find out through rumors. There was no good communication. We also were unable to choose our seat and were stuck in the two middle seats when there were free aisle seats still available. My controller for the tv didn't fit back into the holder easily at all and my husband got a blood blister trying to force it back in. Headrest to hold my head didn't stay put to give proper support while trying to sleep."

Extremely disorganized, terrible customer service OH AND WE HAD TO PAY FOR OUR BAGS TWICE to get reimbursed later but I don’t believe anything Tap Portugal says so we’ll see. Staff advice did not align and they were unapologetic for the experience we received."

We were told that there was no way that the name on the ticket could be changed because of TSA regulations. Of course, we were also told that we could have changed the name had we purchased a more expensive ticket. In other words, we were lied to and told the issue was regulation, when really they wouldn’t help us because we couldn’t afford a more expensive ticket. The only help we were given was the pleasure of paying over $1,500 more to get my wife on the flight. I am in the process of trying to get this refunded, but as of now we have paid twice for my wife to fly, and neither ticket has been refunded. We may have accidentally broken a rule, but the only function that rule seems to have is to make us pay twice for the same seat. As of now, I would never fly this airline again, and I would warn everyone away from it. I will update this post if TAP does the right thing by two honeymooners."

There was no stating of this high cost, once again I would have flown with another airline if I knew of this and didn’t pay leaving America as it said my bags were covered. I hope something is done to make sure it’s clear to customers that this is a horrible and basic airline and it wasn’t cheap. There were no individual tvs in coach and the wifi doesn't allow any streaming (plus it's $50 for the flight) Can't wait for the 6 hour flight back"

I will think twice before flying with them again!"

Plus lots of waiting in lines all day. It was horrible. Missed a full 24hrs in madrid. Hope to get some money back as compensation."
