"The company did not know how to handle COVID bureaucracy efficiently or even correctly. We were asked to fill in four forms when only one is needed or even checked at all. I had to come in early to the airport, take a COVID test and then wait in the airport departure lobby for almost 1h to check in while waiting for the test results. Given that I spent a substantial amount to get a business ticket, I expected my time to be respected and to have business facilities made available. Once reached, the lounge now has an ordering system instead of self-service. The food was honestly disgusting, cold boiled rice without any salt and some "Spanish chorizo chicken" that had no chorizo and tasted like boiled chicken dropped in reheated tomato sauce. The plane departed one hour late. The business class seat was small, but comfortable. The company sent a boiler plate email apologizing which is something you appreciate the first time and it becomes grating when you get more than one per week."

The flight attendant ripped my bag zipper in order to separate the bags. The other passengers bag was not damaged. He tried to fix it but dropped the zip and then pretended it was okay putting it back in the holdall. Kind of unhappy that my new back pack was damaged"

In sprite of the pilot announcing smooth sky’s we had terbulence and seatbelts on for 60% of the flight. And when we arrived the luggage of at least 15 passengers, including mine, did not arrive. After waiting 45 minutes at the carousel for the luggage and another 35 at the priority desk I was informed that the luggage was not coming on the next flight but the next day. They apparently had run out of overnight bags so I had to buy a toothbrush and a t-shirt at the airport to sleep in. Now normally I would pack a carry on with the basic essentials for such a situation but this was a direct fight with 3 follow flights to the same destination..... I have no idea who votes for Air Canada or how many votes it takes to win the awards they keep claiming but there is something wrong..."

I understand that delays happen but the lack of assistance and multiple delays was alarming (with clear weather). Air Canada device over the phone was unprofessional as well when I called to discuss the lack of assistance we received."

Yes size does matter. Look to JAP airlines for style and dignity in the job. Having said that I love Air Canada and fly it as often as possible home."

I understand the rules of the internet fare (no returns, exchanges or cancellations) but the customer service was awful. They didn't offer me any other alternative but to loose full value of the ticket ($1700). Nobody (kayak, vayama, air canada or brussel airlines) gave me any kind of information about those new requirements and I ended up cancelling the whole trip as I couldn't find any other flight to get to Europe. One last thing for custom or border officers, treat the people the way you wanted to be treated."

Punti negativi: "At SFO it is always a mess when you take a flight because you can either be in International terminal - that would be logical, since this is a us Canada flight but at other times you need to go to the united ticket counter instead (even though I get sent between the counters often I can't remember if this is terminal 3) - The lady in line was trying to get my dad to leave this line to go to the other counter line without asking about his specific flight, it caused an argument in my travel party because they thought she was right and I insisted we stay in this line. The lady didn't even acknowledge what I was trying to say and kept telling my dad to go to the other terminal when we were at the correct one. There is nobody that can seem to tell you which terminal to go to prior to arriving at the airport so it doesn't help when someone provides misinformation at the airport while in line. Travel can already Be stressful."

So despite having the doors locked and getting ready to leave the gate, they opened the doors up again and boarded more people for the next 40 minutes. So they chose to make a delayed flight even more delayed (on Christmas Eve). So we inevitably missed our connection in sydney and had to pay a change fee since it’s a different airline. Thanks for the Christmas gift United - you always know how to disappoint your passengers."

The connection time allowed was not nearly enough even if the plane had not been an hour late and there are no flights to asahikawa from narita. yo have to transfer to hanaeda. remind me not to fly United to Tokyo again as I’m pretty sure the flight was canceled because it was not full enough. Even the narita flight with all the hanaeda passengers rebooked on it was not full. So i suspect this may be a relatively common occurance on the hanaeda flight."

I looked back into the rear galley and 5 attendants were back there talking. Tried to get their attention. Nothing. Finally, I got up and went to get my own drinks. Being a server at hotel in waikiki, I understand that customer service is very important. And though I understand that they may have been busy and unable to answer my call, I could see that clearly was not the problem. They were just standing there and chatting. Very frustrating. Though they were friendly, they just simply weren't paying attention. I have to say in all honesty, I will not be recommending nor flying United airlines again."

Upon arrival to Seattle I went to the baggage claim area to find out that my luggage was already put through to the connecting airline to Vancouver. This resulted in me having to go through a long line of passengers to do all of the security checks again to enter the international airport gates. This almost resulted in me missing my connecting flight to Vancouver. The only saving grace was that the flight was delayed by another hour. 3. Changes made on my connecting flights were only given to me during my check in at Auckland. My previous booking was Auckland -San Francisco - Portland - Vancouver. The boarding pass I was given in Auckland omitted Portland and was changed to Seattle. I was never informed about this by United Airlines. 4. United Airlines website NOT allowing me to log in using my e-mail."

Tutti quelli che avevano coincidenze strette sull'aereo per ogni parte del mondo erano allibiti da questa mancanza di informazioni, Una volta arrivati a Toronto il personale di terra non sapeva nulla e siamo dovuti correre fino al gate seguendo le indicazioni dei monitor che davano lo stato del volo come "Boarding". Arrivati trafelati al gate abbiamo scoperto che il volo era partito mezz'ora prima e si erano dimenticati di aggiornare lo stato del volo sui monitor......................... Dopo un'ora di attesa al banco dell'assistenza ci hanno mandati in hotel e dato il biglietto per il volo del giorno successivo. Parte dei pasti li abbiamo pagati di tasca nostra visti i pochi dollari di buono per mangiare (7$ per la colazione, 10$ per pranzo e 15$ per la cena, spendibili esclusivamente all'Holiday Inn dove la sola colazione a buffet costava 17$ + tasse..."
