"Very good service, all were ok/excellent"
Punti positivi: "On March 4, my wife and I made a flight from New York to Sydney with a transfer in Doha, Qatar. We flew the Qatar airline business class. Everything was great despite a very large flight. New plane, very clean. Wide comfortable seats turning into a large comfortable bed. Great menu and good wine list. All staff are professionally trained and very friendly. All this made this flight very comfortable and we were not tired."

But still the leg room would have been ok but the middle seat (second row behind the bilkhead row) had the front passenger's entertainment system arranged across the footwell, not sideways, so it completely blocked the footwell and prevented any stretching of the legs. I am a tall passenger and this caused much discomfort on the flight, I had to keep getting up to walk around. I also found the seat bottom quite uncomfortable (not enough padding I think), butnghis could have been made worse by the footwell issue. Regards Neil"

However, in this case, AA was pretty good, especially the check-in staff at Rome Airport who were excellent. The check-in, boarding and de-boarding processes all went well. Plane was relatively modern, with USB charging ports for phones. Movie selection was good, though the TV selection could be expanded. The food was ok. Seating not bad. All of our luggage, including a child's carseat, was delivered on time and intact. Pleasantly surprised."

They were rude and inconsiderate as they kept suggesting to fly standby. We shouldn't have to fly standby when it wasn't our fault why were late. They told us our bags would be ok going to Chicago and they we would make the flight, but we did not. I do not know why didn't wait for us considering there were 8 others that also missed the connecting flight. We had to fly to Denver and stay overnight with no luggage and catch a 7:00am flight to Chicago. The last surprise I received was my damaged bag when I got back to Chicago. Thank you for making this trip memorable in a terrible way. I will never book or recommend Kayak or use American Airlines again."

Staff was courteous but did not particularly demonstrate awareness of the strain on the travelers being cramped for 10+ hours. Plane was so cramped that one could not take a stretch walk down the aisles to alleviate muscle cramp being in same position for 10 hours. My ultimate destination was San Jose, CA, but that entailed a wait at O'Hare from 12:30p to 8p. Again, staff uninterested in traveler comfort in these parameters. American felt okay to delay my last leg from Chicago to San Jose an hour later than original scheduled, but offered no compensation for the addition to my discomfort. The switch from British Airways to American was a surprise. New flight numbers, change increased my travel stress. I am only 5'3" and not obese, yet could not really fit in my seat: kept getting bumped by passers by in aisle. Airline uninterested in passenger comfort."

It was a long flight and everyone was edgy, but it didn't help that the crew was too. We had assigned seats next to one another but that somehow got changed and we had to get them back at check in."

The American Airlines crew did not know how to handle my G4 visa while checking in and they neglected to mark my bag with the orange ribbon signaling platinum status in American. This is key to getting your luggae faster in baggage claim when you have a short connection (I had less than two hours). This omission caused my suitcase to arrive last, and I had to run to make it to my next flight."

I was extremely disappointed, and even the flight attendant said he had flagged this with his management and they continue to sell those seats as exit row and charge a premium. Very poor business practice on BA's end and will absolutely avoid flying with them in the future."

There should never be an airplane that doesn't have personal entertainment on board for an 11+ hour flight. The main cabin had two monitors up front on each side and one in the middle section. We paid for "premium" seats, no charging options. The overhead storage could barely hold the smallest of carry-on luggage. The food was mediocre at best. We were pretty close to the front but every time the beverage cart made it to us the wine was already empty from the previous passengers. Overall pretty miserable flight"

I am only 5 foot 4 inches, and was very uncomfortable. My husband is 6 feet tall and he was miserable. Sleeping on this 9 hour flight would have been helpful, but due to the cramped seating, it was pretty much impossible. The little pillow and blanket did help with some back support, but I guess making more money per flight is more important than comfort."

The plane was late inbound, had a minor mechanical issue, and on top of that we were at a remote gate so they had to bus everyone to plane. After all that, we sat on the tarmac even longer because of “traffic”. Our takeoff clearance had expired and we were behind a bunch of planes. After landing in Chicago, we waited an additional 30 minutes because our gate was occupied."

Tutti quelli che avevano coincidenze strette sull'aereo per ogni parte del mondo erano allibiti da questa mancanza di informazioni, Una volta arrivati a Toronto il personale di terra non sapeva nulla e siamo dovuti correre fino al gate seguendo le indicazioni dei monitor che davano lo stato del volo come "Boarding". Arrivati trafelati al gate abbiamo scoperto che il volo era partito mezz'ora prima e si erano dimenticati di aggiornare lo stato del volo sui monitor......................... Dopo un'ora di attesa al banco dell'assistenza ci hanno mandati in hotel e dato il biglietto per il volo del giorno successivo. Parte dei pasti li abbiamo pagati di tasca nostra visti i pochi dollari di buono per mangiare (7$ per la colazione, 10$ per pranzo e 15$ per la cena, spendibili esclusivamente all'Holiday Inn dove la sola colazione a buffet costava 17$ + tasse..."

Viaggio tantissimo, ma non mi era mai capitato, neanche nelle low cost, che passando con il carrello delle bevande, la hostess sbraitasse "Something?" ai passeggeri, quasi correndo, e che sembrasse addirittura scocciata se viene fermata per dell'acqua!! Pessima impressione, che ha reso ancora più sgradevole un red-eye flight che già di per sè non è un'esperienza piacevole."

Passengers table next to me was the same. My checked was only 3 lb over the 50 lb limit. United actually made me take 3 pairs of dirty jeans out & carry them with me in a Target shopping bag! Ridiculous!"

Punti negativi: "The plane is too small, I'm 6 foot 4 inches tall and there no leg room, my leg was raising the middle arm rest, I apologized to the guy next to me...he was cool about it. The plane does not absorb turbulence very well. That plane is to small for a flight that is a little over 2 hours"
Punti positivi: "Good crew on both legs of my flight. Airbus from LAX to Chicago was a bit tight, but Chicago to Norfolk was pretty comfortable (different plane). . The SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT thing about this.....and any other flight.....is leaving your place or origin and arriving at your destination SAFELY and without incident. For this, I'm always happy for an uneventful flight. Thanks United."

I can't believe that if there is a plane change they move people in Business and First around without notification. On this trip, they did it again, on the flight leg from Rome to Chicago. If I hadn't noticed the change as soon as I checked in I would have spent over 9 hours in a window seat, which would have meant being unable to get up and move easily to prevent sciatica and other issues. Hard to hear the gate crew in Fiumicino."
