Punti positivi: The crew was efficient. They seemed to care about the passengers' comfort. Also, even though the flight left late, they made up the time while in the air. They are the reason with I gave the excellent rating, despite some other misgivings.

Punti negativi: CDG airport in Paris is a very inefficient and by far the slowest airport. I recommend other passengers to get to the airport at least 4 hours before their departure.
Punti negativi: Crew forced me to change my upgraded comfort seat to accommodate a 12 year old who they knew was going to be airsick. So I spent the first half of the flight next to a vomiting girl. Only after I asked to file a complaint, they allowed me one of two empty seats in premium. Terrible customer service.

Punti negativi: Entertainment system is Windows based and designed by a moron, especially CC behavior. Shows ads (LOTS) before each movie. Pops up window chrome every time you dismiss PA announcements. Very few movies/TVs (even those from the US) have CC.

Punti negativi: The staff at Atlanta International Airport were terrible; not customer friendly. The supervisor at the check-in counter needs to be replaced. I am not one of your frequent flyers but travel internationally. However, based on his attitude I will think twice to select Qatar as my choice of airlines.
Punti positivi: The crew, Venyat looking after my aisle was exemplary. He kept note of when I was asleep when the service passed through. Whenever I go to the galley, he would notice and asked if I needed anything. And this is in Economy!

How can you have a complimentary lounge for people missing their flight but not allow people in. I guess because we were only economy. When asked could we pay for an upgrade to business class, the attendant responded with "oh, its expensive" I didn't ask how much, I asked if we could. I never felt so insulted. The food was terrible. By the time they got to us, our food was cold and they ran out of the menu item we wanted. I have no intention of flying Qatar again. I will stick with Emirates

Rude, inattentive personnel; worst is that every passenger in transit need to go through customs in Xiamen which is terribly complicated. No word about this upon booking or on Xiamen airline's website. Customs in China isn't a nice experience either. Nobody was able to find the right way for check-in, it was a mess. I will never fly again Xiamen Airlines and I recommend to everyone to avoid this airline under any circumstances.
