Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. Had doubts about using Turkish and a little less expensive ticket turned out to be the most expensive in many ways. Went to the gate 17 minutes early and the agents and the plane was there but was refused entry and was lied and told to go to gate 215 and missed the flight even though there were empty seats on the plane. Asked for help at the other gate but was given the run around and ignored by everyone and told to go to gate 214. After I went to gate 214 was told to go to customer service lower level. Turkish airline supervisor Mustafa Bogaz at Istanbul customer service held a grudge because I was upset and yelled at one of the supervisors and he told Mustafa and everyone not to help me and wanted to get back at me and said penalty in front of me to the customer service member I was speaking with. Mustafa lied and would not put me on a connecting flight and said I had to pay penalty and wait 24 hours. Told me to go to customer service outside the airport and would not call them after I told him I was ready to pay for a connecting flight and could not wait 24 hours and needed to go to work. Even though an American citizen was told needed a visa after waiting 1 hour in line and had to pay to exit the airport. The machine didn't work and the credit card was refused. Got stuck at the airport for 24 hours and missed work and a family event. Turkey is a hell hole and nothing works. Will never visit again. Mustafa 6 hours later was still holding a grudge and told another customer service member in Turkish in front of me to lie to me and say there was no emergency aisle seat available for the flight the next day. Got an emergency aisle seat the next morning when Mustafa wasn't there. Everyone in the customer service team including other supervisors took Mustafa's side and would not help me and lied. Everyone had no compassion and held a grudge."

The staff was courteous and friendly and even let me keep my can of tomato juice. Moreover, the seat commands are operated by "light touch" placed just below the wrist and hand, so the seat keeps moving all the time."

WORSE PART: Our daughter couldn't get comfortable to sleep and got fussy, so I took her for a walk which didn't help much. Since it was bedtime 11pm with 0 to little traffic, and to avoid her crying from disturbing everyone I resorted to one of the bathrooms with her. She did fall asleep for about 1 hour until one the FA came literally BANGING on the door. Very rude even after I calmly explained the situation. So sorry for such people with no compassion nor understanding in their hearts."

KAYAK booked us a carrier light ticket and failed to inform us at the time of the booking that it was a tariff without checked in baggage that was being offered. Fortunately, LUFTHANSA informed us of this fact at checkin and we purchased carriage with checked in baggage. This makes me wary of buying tickets through KAYAK in the future."

"The flights were supposed to be with SAS only, but I was mailed by United, requiring documentations for international travel. Before contacting the customer service, I thought this may have been spam/scam... However it was impossible to do an online check in from all SAS, United and Kayak websites. I was therefore forced to check in at the airport with United (again, I wouldn't have known if I had not contacted CS). What really managed to piss me off is that at the time of the check in, not only United was not able to check me in with SAS, but the first flight was also arriving in Chicago at the terminal 1,with the second departing from terminal 5! These terminals are at the opposite poles of the airport (need a shuttle, because it's impossible to walk) and I had to check in and pass through the security again, with a 1:30 hour layover on a transatlantic flight!! Furthermore, Kayak HID THESE DETAILS UNTIL I FOUND OUT AT THE CHECK IN AT THE TIME OF DEPARTURE. I was lucky enough to catch that flight, but only because there was no line at the security. In my case I wasn't traveling for tourism, but I was on my way back to my home country, on the grace period of my US visa. I think it's easy to figure out how many issues losing that flight could have caused to me... I also think this is a deeply irregular way of selling tickets and that kayak should have accounted liable for the issues I may have ran into."

Upon arrival in EWR, I received an email from this site saying my SAS flight "may be canceled". I immediately headed to the terminal where SAS was and went into the lounge to speak to an agent. The women I spoke to could not have been more rude. She told me my flight was canceled and that she did not have access to any details because that was United's responsibility. I told her that could not be the case because my flight was on SAS so if they canceled the flight, I would like to understand what my options are given that I had a tight window upon arrival into my final destination into Dubrovnik so I could not be too late in landing outside of my original reservation. She told me that I had to talk to United and did not even acknowledge why there was a cancellation or anything other than the SAS flight I was on was cancelled. She barely even helped me to understand where my luggage was which I was very concerned would be lost given the issue with the flight cancellation. As a result of all of this, it turns out I was put onto a United flight that now had MORE connections. I had to now go to Frankfurt to Vienna to Dubrovnik, all with really tight connections AND now I no longer was on the same flight as my friend who I was traveling with. SAS did not help with any of this or care to assist in ANY way. They told me it was out of their hands and I had to talk to United. AWFUL service when SAS had cancelled the flight! I had no choice but to take the re-routed flights. I ended up running to my gates and barely catching all of my connections which made for a very stressful travel experience to start my long awaited vacation. After paying the high cost I did for my flight, I am extremely frustrated with my experience as I ended up having more connections, tight connections, awful customer service and a really stressful trip. This is NOT would I would expect for how much I paid and out of the quality of an airline. I would like to receive some type of compensation for the extreme inconvenience of landing 3+ hours after my original arrival time, being broken up with my friend who I was traveling with, not being given any options for my travel, terrible customer service assistance, and no acknowledgement from SAS to help me in any way."

I'd also requested an aisle seat due to a hip issue and was told I'd have one - but when I went to check in, I'd been put in a center seat in a bulkhead. I was able to change but it was the last row of the plane. We the gate they were able to move me up at the last minute - but this all could've been much easier."

In fact I should be the one asking why I had to involve United in the first place. Where was SAS when I needed their help and guidance???? Why was their counter closed the entire time??? Such a poorly organized airline, I'll be wary to fly with SAS again."

That was a rude situation....I felt cheated and then insulted . 2) CPH - Nice : The breakfast or the included orange drink gave me an upset stomach and bad case of Hemorroides. 3) I accepted a glass of tomatoe juice and when I asked for a coke with my lunch , the stewardess said I had only right to one drink and would have to pay the rest....really ? - wine used to be free and now a glass costs $4...really ?? 4) I arrived at CPH airport for my transfer .. the flight was yet not on the screen but no one gave any instruction and no officials of any kind were around to enquire....a cleaning crew finally directed me correctly. 5) the security line in New York to board was ridiculously long...someone shouted to take off our smelly shoes...really ?? 6) most were directed to the right with four snaking unending lines to one security check . From time to time others were directly directed ed to the left where there was no line and option of two security checks. Half way through my wait , most were directed to the left and all who were 'late', were let out first to their gate. The whole experience before, on the plane and after was not worth the money...least of all a pleasant one."

There aren't any free small snacks like chips or peanuts. You have to pay for everything and the menu is exorbitantly over priced. It's a cheap and insulting customer strategy. They can save a few bucks in overhead on each customer this way, but they are losing money in the long run because I'll never book with them again due to their tawdry actions. I doubt I am alone."

I was told I couldn’t get a flight until 24-48 hours later. There were flights available through other airlines, so I asked if they could get me on one of those flights. I then sat on hold for 45 mins to be told that the airline wasn’t responding and the only thing they could do is refund me. I ended up purchasing a new round trip airfare 4 hours before departure which cost me $1000 more than what I paid for my original flights. I was experiencing a lot of anxiety and stress during this period again with no help from the agents. I expect someone to get back to me regarding this and offer some options on how to make this situation right."

I was first in the line at the check-in counter and ended up boarding at the end with all the hassle. I requested the vegetarian food twice and confirmed it while the reservation, but still didn't get the food. My son and myself were hungry for few hours. The crew was not very supportive to accommodate any food."

I think TAP overbooked everyone and seated us on purpose. The secondflight was delayed due to “bad weather” and it was perfectly nice outside. Shame on TAP. I’m sure other people are complaining."

Sono incinta e in piu viaggiavo con un bimbo di 7 anni, non ci hanno dato nemmeno un voucher per mangiare e il personale di informazioni a Lisbona sono stati tutti antipatici. Siamo arrivati a Zurigo alle 22:45 non cerano treni per Basilea, sono dovuta prendere un treno per Zurigo HB con tutte le valigge e da lí abbiamo preno un altro treno per Basile. Siamo arrivati alle 2 de mattino a casa. Viaggio STRAZIANTE PER COLPA DELLA TAP."

Punti negativi: "When the flight was delayed the people at the desk did not make an announcement about the delay, what was causing it and what we could expect. People waiting had to find out through rumors. There was no good communication. We also were unable to choose our seat and were stuck in the two middle seats when there were free aisle seats still available. My controller for the tv didn't fit back into the holder easily at all and my husband got a blood blister trying to force it back in. Headrest to hold my head didn't stay put to give proper support while trying to sleep."

Instead TAP gave us a replacement flight to Madrid and then from Madrid to Venice A FLIGHT WITH TWO STOPS IS NOT WHAT WE WANTED OR PAID FOR. Madrid was also delayed and we missed our connection to Venice. We got a new flight from Madrid to Venice and had to wait 5 hours for it. A trip from New Jersey to Venice ended up taking OVER 24 HOURS!!!! Due to the disgraceful disorganization and service of TAP PORTUGA we missed our best friends rehersal dinner a memory we would have loved to have. Extremely disorganized, terrible customer service OH AND WE HAD TO PAY FOR OUR BAGS TWICE to get reimbursed later but I don’t believe anything Tap Portugal says so we’ll see. Staff advice did not align and they were unapologetic for the experience we received."

Punti negativi: "The customer service I received was horrible horrible horrible especially from the check in counter the were very rude . After booking my flight on kayak I called TAP customer service just to make sure that everything was fine .I asked them about luggage they said I had 2 free and a carry on when I got to the airport said I had to pay for the 2 i said no told them that i called TAP they didn't wanna hear it i asked for the manager she I am the manager and you bought a discounted ticket and there's no luggage with this ticket only acarry on in a mean way if you want the you have to pay $90 for each I tried to call TAP can't get through them when they finally got through them the guy confirmed that I ve called it on the records but it said now it's too late to do anything I am already at the airport that I have to pay and contact them later. I wasted good hour and a half on this and I had to pay $180. After all that at the boarding gate they announced that they will call by zone .they called especial need called frequent flyers zone A never called zone B all they said last minute was this is the final call for flight #.... and I was right in front of them and guess who were the people making the announcement yep the same people at the check in counter"

Punti negativi: "My wife and I arrived to the airport for our honeymoon extremely excited. We had been saving for our trip to Italy for months, and we were finally going to get things started. Everything fell apart when we went to check in and we were told that my wife couldn’t use her ticket because she had changed her last name. We were told that there was no way that the name on the ticket could be changed because of TSA regulations. Of course, we were also told that we could have changed the name had we purchased a more expensive ticket. In other words, we were lied to and told the issue was regulation, when really they wouldn’t help us because we couldn’t afford a more expensive ticket. The only help we were given was the pleasure of paying over $1,500 more to get my wife on the flight. I am in the process of trying to get this refunded, but as of now we have paid twice for my wife to fly, and neither ticket has been refunded. We may have accidentally broken a rule, but the only function that rule seems to have is to make us pay twice for the same seat. As of now, I would never fly this airline again, and I would warn everyone away from it. I will update this post if TAP does the right thing by two honeymooners."

When I got to the airport I was told I had to pay 110 for my one checked bag as well as they had moved me to an aisle seat. Basically scammed me out of 122.95. I have complained with ygthe airline and if it is not resolved I will not be flying with them again."

Punti negativi: "We missed our connection Lisbon to Venice because our plane out of Boston was delayed. We flew TAP Lisbon to Rome and then Alitalia to Venice. Our fight to Rome was delayed. We were never told the plane was delayed or how long we should expect to wait. We just stood at the gate waiting to board and time ticked further and further past the boarding time listed on our tickets."
