"Delta does a great job in general. However, the “Comfort+“ seats weren’t worth the money. I sat in both seats, and I compared the width of the seats and the distance from the seat edge to the back of the seat in front of it. There was a difference of about 2” in the seat width and 1” in the leg room. Very disappointing."

"This was the Delta Shuttle flight (operated by Republic Airways (therefore not a mainline flight)). The crew was exceptional in expediting boarding, accommodating customers, and politely dealing with “difficult” passengers (don’t be that passenger - it’s a 40 minute flight). Great flight overall."

Punti negativi: "I dont know WHY Delta changed my flight with ALIITALIA, but, DON'T DO IT DELTA. The check in process took an hour, not talking about the line, the ACTUAL checkin at the counter. I couldn't complete my web checkin at the AliItalia web site. Landed in JFK, still sucks as an airport, nobody helps, nobody explains anything, very poor signs and instructions, Global Entry kiosk are hard to spot. My connection ticket didn't have the TSA/PRECHECK legend, went to AliItalia counter, the lady at AliItalia barely said anything when I asked for help with that, her immediate answer was to disengage and sent me to another terminal "to talk to Delta". She didn't explain or didn't want to give an explanation until I started to act as an already 9hr30min flight frustrated customer in a very old, very poor plane with poor food service. Again, I bought an over $1,000 ticket with DELTA, NOT ALIITALIA, if Delta send people with their "partners" at least make sure that they are taken care of properly."

However, while I was walking to my seat, I saw ample storage space as well as suitcases that were laying horizontally or flat and could easily have been adjusted to create even more space. Given that most people pack their most valuable items in their carry on bags (as well as anything fragile), I was a bit uneasy checking mine. The associate who helped check my bag on the tarmac was kind. I was grateful that my luggage had a hard shell case."

On our outward bound flight three weeks earlier, we were all met and escorted swiftly by a flight attendant from the first leg plane (EWR-MUN) to the second leg plane (MUN-Nice) to ensure that we all made it onboard. Impressive. On our return journey, no such luck! No attendant to meet us, and a huge line at immigration, full of panicked and stressed-out passengers jockeying for position, with no-one from ANY airline there to do a triage for those with the shortest connections. Ridiculous. In addition, the passport-scanning machines were very slow and quirky. My own passport was rejected because there was no evidence I had passed through Munich on my outward bound journey!! RIDICULOUS. I managed to slip through to a human being and begged the immigration officer to let me go through with my husband, who had had no such problem. The officer told me he could not find a stamp from my earlier transit through!!! Eventually I suppose he did because he let me through. The stamp was there, I found it, but it had been sloppily applied and was half off the page...hence the rejection by the scanner. We made the flight by minutes. NOT GOOD! Surely Lufthansa could do better in their own country???"

Moreover, the seat commands are operated by "light touch" placed just below the wrist and hand, so the seat keeps moving all the time."

I am only 5’3” and 125lbs but still was faced with a mere 5 inches in front of me when the passenger in front of me reclined his seat. I couldn’t even stand in order to exit the row and had to crawl over the seats to my side. This had me thinking how dangerous this row could be in case of an emergency. Please consider designating these seats either not to be used or optional for passengers."

Single. One. I have always felt as a burden to crew if I asked for extra water or an extra blanket- not on this flight, not with this crew. They came around multiple times per hour during an 8hr and 20min flight, offering various beverages and checking on everyone. I can’t thank them enough for how caring they were to everyone on board. The captain as well was very professional and had a kind spirit when he spoke. Best experience I’ve ever had- (and I travel multiple times per year!)"

They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."

The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

"The flights were supposed to be with SAS only, but I was mailed by United, requiring documentations for international travel. Before contacting the customer service, I thought this may have been spam/scam... However it was impossible to do an online check in from all SAS, United and Kayak websites. I was therefore forced to check in at the airport with United (again, I wouldn't have known if I had not contacted CS). What really managed to piss me off is that at the time of the check in, not only United was not able to check me in with SAS, but the first flight was also arriving in Chicago at the terminal 1,with the second departing from terminal 5! These terminals are at the opposite poles of the airport (need a shuttle, because it's impossible to walk) and I had to check in and pass through the security again, with a 1:30 hour layover on a transatlantic flight!! Furthermore, Kayak HID THESE DETAILS UNTIL I FOUND OUT AT THE CHECK IN AT THE TIME OF DEPARTURE. I was lucky enough to catch that flight, but only because there was no line at the security. In my case I wasn't traveling for tourism, but I was on my way back to my home country, on the grace period of my US visa. I think it's easy to figure out how many issues losing that flight could have caused to me... I also think this is a deeply irregular way of selling tickets and that kayak should have accounted liable for the issues I may have ran into."

Got to the gate and they sent me and about 25 other folks with no seat assignment to wait for a "colleague" who finally appeared after almost everyone else had boarded. I did get a seat, but I was one of the last to board. They ran out of salmon dinners, so the stewardess plopped a chicken dish in front of me--didn't eat since I am vegetarian. The stewardess did give me a free mini bottle of wine, which is normally free on Lufthansa. I am just not all that impressed with SAS. I will try to avoid them in the future."

I work with small children so I understand that when they reach that age all they want to do is kick and punch, but I didn't want to end my vacation by having half a dozen two-year-olds punch my leg or try to crawl under my chair as they wandered nearby. I still have bruises."

"From using an app that denied my negative covid test THREE times because they misread it and tried to mislead me about it ("Maybe the date isn't specified?" when it very much was and I'd drawn attention to its correct location); to the fact that my connecting flight wasn't even available in this app was supposed to determined whether I could fly to my final destination; ti the fact that a supposedly vital piece of documentation wasn't even mentioned in that app; to the unnecessary delaying of a connecting flight by several hours that was suddenly on time again upon landing minutes only late, which somehow required all passengers with ANY connecting flight to run to their gate regardless of destination; to the fact that the boarding passes didn't include my initial return flight and only the connecting, which was cause to be denied entry to the airport, to the apparenly unknown and much disputed location of the check-in where I would have to report to get said boarding pass; to the ONE HOUR WAIT behind maybe 20 people total in spite of having no bags to check because again, I had no boarding pass; to the app incorrectly stating that no additional covid test was needed only to find out after having been at the airport THREE HOURS; to the fact that my itinerary"couldn't" be changed because it was "in flight" while the "fare difference" I would be charged went up $100 every hour I was forced to wait because there were magically no notes regardingmy flight every time I called back as directed; this was a miserable experience all around. Never recommending aer lingus to anyone ever and certainly won't fly it again."

I don't feel this made things go any faster - we still waited in line for quite some time in the jetway. I don't understand having front, back, and middle. Just let all economy get in line, or do something efficient like load the window seats first, the aisle, and for the seats in the middle of the plane, have the middle seats load 1st, and then the aisle seats. Seats got uncomfortable during the flight. Also, the person in front of me reclined ALL the way, so the top of her seat was only a few inches in my face. Most flights I have been on don't allow the seats to recline that far. I could barely get out of my seat to get up and go to the bathroom."

Punti negativi: "Did not like the 2.5 hour delay and plane de-boarding/change - this is something that should have been checked before 200 people were allowed to get on the plane and get situated. Also did not like the fact that I called ahead of time (5 weeks) to request a gluten free meal (which was on my flight to Dublin I will add) and it was not on my return flight to the USA. I was starving and was not able to eat that day because the cafes were closed in Dublin (Christmas eve), no food on plane, and because of a missed layover due to flight delay was scrambling to make the new connection and could not get food. Also, rescheduling for missed connection was a nightmare. Not enough personnel to assist in process and took over an hour just to get re-assignment information. Was sent to wrong gate and almost missed new connection. Then on top of that my luggage was lost and the american airlines operating staff sent me to the wrong terminal to make a claim and it ended up taking 1.5 hours longer than it should have just to submit my claim. This is on Christmas Eve mind you, after everything else that is happened that day on this nightmare of a flight. I realize American Airlines is just a partner airline, but you choose to partner with a company that provides sub-par service and an inability to resolve issues so I suggest finding a new partner if you want your customers to have better overall experiences."

Punti positivi: "Very quiet flight, so lots of space to spread out. Good in flight entertainment/. Flight was on time and arrived ahead of schedule."

I was told when boarding that not able to take a coffee that I had literally just purchased on board - I travel frequently and have NEVER been told this before.. I always buy a coffee and take on baord teh fligth as airline coffee sucks!This needs to be made clear if this in in fact an Aer Lingus policy. This was one of the many stupid rules that were constantly effected during the flight -" you can't do this, you can;t do that" and whilst i understand some are for safety - I and fellow passengers felt like we being scolded like school children"

Punti negativi: "Showed up an hour and a half before departure time at Chicago OHare and there was no one staffed at the check in desk to print out boarding passes and they had no electronic kiosk to print out boarding passes either. There was just a sign that said call customer service. Then the several passengers that were never boarded for the afternoon flight due to the unavailability of staff were asked to pay $200 to get on the next flight due to "corporate policy." We refused and booked another airline. Horrible customer service."

Even though we ran out of the chicken choice for dinner ( which was my first choice), since I was sitting in the last row I was left with beef-chili. It was very good.For snack I had the chicken sandwich and that was excellent as well. The leg room is ok. My only problem is the entertainment. The selection is limited. Some of the movies are old ( Goodfellas, Godfather). Maybe 30 movies overall and that includes the animated ones and documentaries. The TV selection is ok. I usually use closed caption that was not available for most of the movies."

The staff at the connecting flight counter went way out of their way to find it and escort me all the way through Irish customs to the on-site American customs and Immigration. Without their help I would have missed the flight from Dublin to Chicago."

Punti negativi: "Aer Lingus website is difficult to navigate. Boarding passes do not transfer electronically to my smart phone. Seats are too hard and are therefore uncomfortable. Entertainment screen did not respond to touch very well. Screen crashed twice during the trip. Earphones only worked in one ear and had poor sound quality."

Punti positivi: "Claudia at the boarding gate, she was friendly and trying to make a difficult situation better. The Flight attendants were professionally dressed and presented a good image."
Punti negativi: "Not the airline's fault, but being "randomly" selected for yet another security check was painful. The young lad taking me back through the process really didnt seem to have a full grasp on the process. Many of the seats required assistance in coming back from a reclined position. The selection of movies wasn't that spectacular, but I made do as best as possible. The meals, were adequate at best, and having to pay for spirits was also an additional negative having already paid for the trans-Atlantic journey."
