How can such a reputed airline have no tools to calculate the pay? Other airlines offered one-way for half of the price i paid. On top of it, online helpdek promised front line seat to satisfy me but nothing was offered even if i ask explicitly. Simply declined saying i am not in priority list. Why do they make false promises? Friends, Just don't fly for food ....."

If you ask for something the answer was sorry we don’t have. The wifi didn’t work properly and now you have to pay for that. My seat, 87K didn’t work, it was blocked and I couldn’t reclined. Emirates used to be very good airline but not anymore."

I was late by 10 mins getting to the ticket counter and Emirates gave my seat away. I then proceeded to attempt to rebook and the Emirates agent advised they are sold out for the next 3 days and have no flight alternatives to offer. I contact flight network and the person I spoke proceeds to tell me the same thing and there is nothing they can do for me. Basically that I would need to purchase a whole new ticket on another airline as Emirates doesn't have availability. Which I did. Now I'm looking online and Flight Network has my exact flight on Emirates available at same price I paid for my ticket. But now my new ticket purchased to get home is non-refundable. I'm out over 1000 dollars because of bad info. This has been a horrific experience and after being loyal to Kayak for years.... I will never use the site again."

Punti negativi: "announcements in Turkish is interrupted your screen in front of every passenger and you have to listen to it even if you have no idea of what they taking about because it will block everything your are doing .. The solution is very easy as you can setup the screen to your language and the computer can choose to show you only the announcements that is in your language that make sense to you."

I was asked to either check in carry on as extra baggage and pay $300 or put my carry on stuff in my other checked in baggage and pay extra for over limit $120. And I have to trash my carry on of $80 value. I was not at all happy. I noticed in the flight so many passengers have the same size carry on, which I have to trash. On my return journey from Delhi to Abu Dhabi I was talking to a woman in the security line, who was sharing the same experience and she told me that they charge her $400 for one extra suitcase. To me that was shocking as how come I was asked $300 for extra checked in bag and she was charged $400. No idea what kind of policies Etihad has for extra baggage. I would like Etihad management to pay attention to the airport staff dealings with customers."

The in flight internet I purchased but was unable to use after being charged for more that one email -- it went out and stayed out. $22 down the lost unless I can get refunded, which I have requested. If Etihad doesn't refund me, I will be taking it up with Paypal as well as other review sites and business channels."

Then the actual staircase / boarding process took nearly 10 minutes... queueing in 41 degree heat. Muscat is a very new airport and many gates with airbridges were not being used. As the home airport of the national carrier I wouldn't expect tarmac boarding."
