It was an exhausting and long wait for the next flight and I did not think it was well-handled. Staying in a hotel is not a great option, because it takes 2 hours to get out of the airport, another 2 hours cushion to get back in time."

When boarding began, it started with "Group 1" rather than business and other priority customers. The boarding process was pretty organized (without including the ignorant passengers who can't read their zone numbers, haha) because they called us up group by group, in a speedy process. Even inside, the cabin crew welcomed us aboard and showed us where our seats are. This leads me to my 5-star rating of the service. Very warm, friendly, and generally helpful cabin crew Qatar Airways has. They fulfilled all my needs even if they had to go out of their way. As for entertainment, I was very surprised at how many great movies they have! Especially the new ones! I would not be bored again with this selection. Food was okay to be honest. It was a hot meal that satisfied my hunger and tasted good, but maybe it's just me and airplane food. Doesn't taste right for me. And to be honest, I was cramped. Not even me but many other passengers felt like the seats were too small. Overall, Good experience!"

When seeking guidance from crew members about the flight's boarding different answers were given at different time. First it was no delay, just the plane getting closer to the gate, later followed by a 10 mins wait that later became over 30 mins. Once we finally made it on the flight, when requesting a beverage the only option given is water or orange juice and if you have any dietary restrictions (even when providing said information to the airline) you will remain without food on the shorter flights."

However, because of the diplomatic row between Turkey and the U.S., my daughter was refused entry into Turkey. Turkish airlines' policy was to refund the ticket of any American caught in this row. They said they will refund my one month old daughter's ticket. However, my wife and i will not receive a refund. We bought the three tickets together. Our ticket numbers ended in 235...51, 235...52, and 235...53. However, they will not refund our whole money by cancelling the ticket but only that of my daughter. So this is the question: Does Turkish airline want me to leave my one-month old baby in the U.S. and tavel with my wife to Turkey? What kind of parents will we be if we were to abandon our daughter to take a trip to Turkey. Even, the people in Turkish airlines will judge us evil parents, yet that was exactly the only option they gave us. Lose your daughter or lose your ticket money. They will not even just change our iternary or give us another destination we suggested without penalties which are almost 3/4 of our initial ticket price. They just made away with our money. You cannot say, 'We are cancelling tickets for American citizens' but make no exception for parents of infant citizens. This is the height of criminality. So, me and my family couldn't take the flight and lost $1500. We had to buy another ticket by airfloat to get to Georgia. But Turkish airlines refused to even contact us on the refund for my daughter. A truly criminal enterprise."

"Not much to expect from Alitalia these days. They should not be part of the Skyteam. They are way below the standard. Service is very poor and you do not feel welcome on board. Space is smaller, only water, no garbage college in between or before landing, dirty bathrooms and entertainment is so so."
"The terminal on my ticket was different than the gate number. We went through security and had to take a 15 min shuttle to a different terminal. Why not just go through security there? There were also no attendants at the gate to discuss seat assignments. My husband and I didn’t have seats together. Try on board crew was great, but the airport experience was lacking."

SAS does not care if you have flown on another transatlantic carrier, which allows more than 8 kg. Then you need to start emptying your hand luggage at checkin. The whole checkin process was a big mess, the contract employees eg. at Heathrow do not help much (they probably do not do this to any other airline). SAS staff does not remind you to take your IDs and passport, medications etc. from your hand luggage, which is then checkedin luggage as opposed to hand luggage. It is obvious that transatlantic passengers have more hand luggage than many local passengers."
