The queues for customs were incredibly long and the only reason I made my flight was because I ran through the airport. I also had a challenging time with food. I am celiac and often cannot eat the standard fare on planes. I called in advance of my flight to notify someone of my allergy - and they told me the only way I could ensure such a meal was by purchasing a meal that cost $30. I was not willing to pay such a hefty surcharge for food because I had already payed a bit extra than budgeted because my partner had recommended the excellent service of Swiss. I have traveled on several airlines for intercontinental flights between Boston and Europe - and have always had my allergy accommodated at no extra cost. Once on the flight - I was offered an orange and banana for dinner and a small yoghurt for breakfast. I will be flying Swiss again in December and I sincerely hope they will be better equipped to provide for my dietary requirements."

No internet--big drawback on overseas flights. On our trip there, one bathroom was a mess, plus out of toilet paper. Told the stewardess, and they closed it for a while--took some time for it to be attended to. The entertainment choices are VERY slim--don't know why a more extensive list of choices could not be made available."

There were other business class seats on the other side that had the table space ext to the window away from the aisle. That would make sense for the lady with dog. Business class was full and I was the last to get on, 45 minute connection in Zurich from terminal A to E, my seat was given. But as I objected, they moved the dog lady and gave me back my seat. But they never asked a person in the seat that would have made sense to give her to trade seats."

Check in agent in Budapest was terribly rude and sent us off to the side to "go call united" because "there was something wrong with our ticket." He wouldn't explain what was wrong so we didn't know what to tell United. After standing in a corner for more than 30 mins, another agent offered to help us. It turns out the only problem was that we hadn't completed our check in online, (which we couldn't because the app would not let us input the correct expiration date for our passports) ...and he just didn't want to have to put our information in himself. We could have missed our flight because of his laziness!!! He was also the only person in the whole airport NOT wearing a mask.
We didn't have right seat.. No kosher food
The flight was delayed and communication was poor. I went from jogging to my gate (because I thought the plane was boarding) to standing in a line for two hours with several hundred other people -- taking a variety of flights and wondering why we were standing in yet another line, in a hallway not at the gate. One woman screamed announcements in front but with so many in the line her voice could not be heard. Had I known what was going on I would have used the bathroom, gotten a drink and a snack. I would still have had to wait, but at least I could have been comfortable.

Flight to Florence delayed. All passengers took a bus to Pisa (1.5 hours away) to fly Pisa to Paris. We missed our connection and flew next day. All information regarding the delay online was incorrect ("system not yet updated") . So calling Air France was useless as they could not assist. Not all flight delays can be avoided but many improvements are needed throughout this process.
Poor communication from boarding staff, airport staff not a clue. Communication on board was un decipherable and airline lost baggage.

With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Happy to check my suitcase but bringing s small backpack and s purse is necessary for men and women of all ages. I will say that unlike most of the European low cost airlines this was on time!"

So she is terrified of flying and had a horrible flight sitting with 2 strangers. Had to pay for baggage, I just finished traveling all over Greece, never paid for baggage, until Easy Jet.. I wasn’t impressed at all with Easy Jet and will never book with them."

Making it a 120 euro more than it should have been. They also pretended not to speak English when we tried to talk to them about payment even though they spoke perfect English when they told us the cabin overheads were full. Will definitely be contacting kayak about this."
Punti positivi: "A parte l'andata, con dei passeggeri che dovevano andare per forza a catania , e che hanno rilevato il posto di due passeggeri che si sono offerti di scendere ,(previo compenso).Questa situazione ha fatto partire l'aereo in ritardo, ma per il volo di per se e' stato perfetto. Cosi' anche quello di oggi, e' partito in orario ed e' atterrato 5 minuti prima. Il volo comunque e' stato rilassante.Bravo ai piloti...."

Punti negativi: "When I booked this I didn't see an opportunity to pay for our bags on the Kayak booking site When I checked in the charge was about $60.00 for each of 4 bags .... more than half of the ticket costs. I don't think I'll use Kayak again if they are not clear regarding paying for bags ahead and saving. It may have been my oversight but I'm both poorer and wiser. Easyjet seems to thrive on the baggage charges.... it's not comparing apples and apples when Kayak gives prices if the baggage charges are hidden. I would like Kayak to change it's program or provide an option so that any baggage charges are calculated in the "up front" cost quote so that airlines are compared "apples to apples"."
