Punti negativi: "Boeing 767-400ER seats had no leg room for 6'+ traveller like me. The entertainment system was so old that there were no 115v outlets or USB ports. On a 7-hour flight, that is a significant problem for travellers today with multiple electronic devices. Finally, we were not told in advance that we had to go through security twice and through US Customs BEFORE leaving Dublin. So, the 6-hour layover at JFK was a complete waste of our time as we did not have to go through Customs there."

Yes we were in First Class and it was a (groan) 6:05 AM flight which meant that we were probably on time. But Delta’s 737-900 (to Atlanta) was very comfortable, the crew did everything well and the breakfast was quite good. (Make sure you try the quiche). We had the same crew on the next leg to Miam, who were surprised and gave us a warm welcome. There were only snacks in 1st for that short segment, but they were all we wanted."

"The company did not know how to handle COVID bureaucracy efficiently or even correctly. We were asked to fill in four forms when only one is needed or even checked at all. I had to come in early to the airport, take a COVID test and then wait in the airport departure lobby for almost 1h to check in while waiting for the test results. Given that I spent a substantial amount to get a business ticket, I expected my time to be respected and to have business facilities made available. Once reached, the lounge now has an ordering system instead of self-service. The food was honestly disgusting, cold boiled rice without any salt and some "Spanish chorizo chicken" that had no chorizo and tasted like boiled chicken dropped in reheated tomato sauce. The plane departed one hour late. The business class seat was small, but comfortable. The company sent a boiler plate email apologizing which is something you appreciate the first time and it becomes grating when you get more than one per week."

In this day and age, for an overseas flight that is 10 hours long, to be this old old without updated features and without plugins, this is unacceptable. Flat out ridiculous. This plane was SO OLD and dingy. Just awful."

We also had to return to the gate due to a technical issue and ended up leaving almost two hours late, which defeated the purpose of picking this flight over the rest as it was the one that was supposed to land in Milan the earliest. I will be careful next time I pick a flight to check what kind of airplane they're using. My assumption that international flights have the best airplanes seems to be wrong :(."

Problems continue for me 2 months later on this route and as a pattern it's incredibly unsettling. I'm questioning whether taking the return flight on a plane that's clearly begging to be retired"

But I was on a flight before hand that was much smaller and it fit in the overhead space there. When I try to tell them that it fit in the last plane and I fit it in the example been, they still made me check it. I believe they just picked me out for no reason. It was ridiculous and the lady was very rude. The crew on the flight was very nice and I like that they fed us multiple times. Also, the flight was very cold. Even with the blanket and cardigan, we could never get warm."

Tutti quelli che avevano coincidenze strette sull'aereo per ogni parte del mondo erano allibiti da questa mancanza di informazioni, Una volta arrivati a Toronto il personale di terra non sapeva nulla e siamo dovuti correre fino al gate seguendo le indicazioni dei monitor che davano lo stato del volo come "Boarding". Arrivati trafelati al gate abbiamo scoperto che il volo era partito mezz'ora prima e si erano dimenticati di aggiornare lo stato del volo sui monitor......................... Dopo un'ora di attesa al banco dell'assistenza ci hanno mandati in hotel e dato il biglietto per il volo del giorno successivo. Parte dei pasti li abbiamo pagati di tasca nostra visti i pochi dollari di buono per mangiare (7$ per la colazione, 10$ per pranzo e 15$ per la cena, spendibili esclusivamente all'Holiday Inn dove la sola colazione a buffet costava 17$ + tasse..."

Do not book on United Everett Johnson Bellevue, Washington"

When I spoke to the person at he gate when we had to deboard, She was patient in explaining but didn't seem like she wanted to answer my questions in front of everyone else. I walked over to the United customer service desk. Wow. No sense of empathy whatsoever. They gave me the answers to my questions but I almost felt like I had done wrong asking what my options were. Never had an issue with Lufthansa. United customer service is a different story. I will try my best to avoid Lufthansa flights operated by United from now on."

Punti negativi: "United Economy Plus bulkhead was awful. I was seated in seat 7D - there was no bulkhead for me or middle seat - just a curtain. The screens and tiny pockets were only accessible over another passenger. The seat stuck out into the aisle so I was bumped by 200 other passengers at least once - not to mention the flight crew. Finally I had my emotional support dog with me and the crew told me I should. It be in that seat - the seat was assigned by the United Accessibikity Desk as a good one for a service animal - and I had zero choice in the matter. Baggage claim at SFO took over 45 minutes to start -I was home in San Francisco in only 20 minutes after getting my bag."

Pessima impressione, che ha reso ancora più sgradevole un red-eye flight che già di per sè non è un'esperienza piacevole."
