Felt like I was being scolded. True, I'm trying to be frugal and avoid a big investment in shock-proof luggage and/or checked baggage fees, but as long as it fits under my seat, what's the big deal? I'm sure I easily weigh at least 70 pounds less than the person sitting next to me, so the extra 4 kg in a backpack that I (female) can personally carry shouldn't be an issue. Then, there's no jetway. You leave the gate to board a bus that takes you to a plane on the tarmac where you must climb a rather large flight of metal stairs. Reverse direction, It takes quite some time and a few crew members to assist those with disabilities to deplane. All the time the rest of the passengers are waiting in the bus to get to their connections. Would only ever fly this airline again if it was the only option to get where I want to go."
Punti negativi: "I arrived just before the hour an hour before departure for a 6am flight, which is in line with their 60 minute policy to find the counter closed. I spent another 25 minutes running around the airport trying to find someone to assist including a ticket agent to adjust my flight. Only to be told I couldn't get a flight out until the next day and I had to pay more for my original ticket for it. I contacted customer service and their response was a simple copy and paste of the rules which I was well aware of (apparently I should have really been there 90 mins before and not 60 according to the site). I only booked with the airline because it offered an 8 hour layover in Athens...a chance to see a bonus city. There are plenty of other airlines with more flexible and consistent policies. I have traveled the world on many airlines and have never had an early check in counter close or to have to chase down a representative to get service."

I am sure they can show the text clearly warning me about the fees for bringing a piece of luggage per person, but I missed it. Therefore, they charged me $35 per person for their registered bag. That’s probably how they “beat” their competitors’ prices. If you include the fees in your calculation, this might still be a good option, but make sure that you read the fine print, or be prepared to pay as “extra” what many airlines offer as basic."

Why should we have to run when the intial connection was 45 mins. Because one plane with the SAME airline is running late and gives us 6 minute's to get to the gate, that should not be any fault of the passengers. Radio the other flight and have them hold. I got an email that the gate changed TWICE. the airline employee did not get that memo at all. So we were raced to the wrong gate even AFTER, I mentioned the gate change. A real frustrating experience all together."

We hope that soon Sky Express will have the entire airplane fleet refreshed. More new airplanes to fill the gap and expand further direct flights to new airports. Crew acts responsibly and kind, which is even more important at this pandemic period.
I was going to miss my connecting flight with sky Express also and the people in the office said they couldn't help me book another flight for the next day, but that I had to wait until anthens and go their office to help me. Other people on staff were friendly though.

Punti negativi: "The tickets I purchased through Kayak stated we were allotted 23 kilo/bag, the standard for most airlines. We flew Sky Express to Santorini with no issues. It wasn’t until we were boarding to go back to Athens when the attendants for Sky Express told us the limit per bag was only 15 kilo, not 23. I spoke with someone in their management office at the Santorini airport and apparently they have different levels of tickets you can purchase, the highest allows the most amount of baggage weight. I explained to them that we had no issues flying into Santorini and showed them my e-ticket from Kayak that clearly showed 23 kilo/bag limit and they would not honor that. We wound up having to pay over $80 in baggage fees because we were lied to by Kayak. Thank you Kayak."

I rechecked reservations before to make sure had everything in place, since I named my daughter Santorini afte the island. The day of the flight, we spent 2 hours waiting in line for this flight. The service was exceptionally slow and they kept letting other passengers who were on another flight ahead of us. When I got to the check-out counter we were told that our flight didn't exist and it was like we were ghosts in the system. Even after showing proof of our e-ticket confirmation, it didn't matter. We had to repurchase new tickets at high prices and wait the whole day at the airport to get to Santorini. My friends who were traveling with us had to go on without us and the expensive hotel I purchased for the trip was a waste. We didn't get off the island until 8 and arrived late in Santorini. The whole experience was a disaster."

No one tried to help us or have any sort of customer service so we ended up paying a lot of money so that we didn't make other passengers wait on us to transfer weight."
