No car was available, I was told that Hertz customers would get priority because they had priority over Thrifty. I could not get a car and had to turn around and come home. I had to call to get my money back for the rental but airfare, hotel and taxi to the tune of $500 is out of pocket and nobody wants to accept responsibility! Pickup staff driver at baggage was prompt and friendly. Moved our suitcases onto shuttle for us. I tipped him. check-in staff was a polite cheerful guy who was able to upgrade us to a roomier car, which performed great in all weather. Drop off was a little awkward as the fellow did not have the remote electronic device outdoor. Indoor staff was delayed a little due to that. I had returned the car full of gas. The attitude of the sales assistant when telling me that Thrifty increased the cost of my vehicle rental by FOUR TIMES the amount I expected to pay was absurd. She acted as if this was perfectly normal and reasonable, which it should never be. The store policies seem almost fraudulent in this regard. The vehicle was great. Rental staff in DEN was not resourceful when asking questions about the agreement & initially reservation payments. Fairly rude and just wanted to scoot me and others along. Car was fine overall.Recensione del 3 ott 2022

I was led to believe that I needed to pay for something for tolls, $12.56 per day, or I'd have to pay a fortune every time I went through a toll. Since I refused to pay the extra $100+, I found myself terrified of finding myself on any toll roads! I was able to avoid them though, thank goodness, and most everything else was OK. The customer agent was nice! The pick up part was poor! I drove to the gate to leave and was informed that the car wasn’t driveable. Had to return it and they gave me a damaged Camray with dents/scratches and a broken mirror.Recensione del 20 giu 2022

We were charged for a faulty tire that became flat. I never thought to take pictures of the tires before accepting the rental, but clearly, with Thrifty, one needs to. The tire gave way at the seam. We are fortunate there wasn’t a blow out. When we returned the car, the staff blamed us for not taking pictures of the tire before we rented the car. Thrifty was the least expensive rental.
