I was denied a car because I did not have a foreign license. I booked while I was overseas and but have an American license. They refused to give me a car. Then I had to go through a long process to try to get the money back. Still have not received it and it’s been nearly 1 month. Will never book with Avis/Budget again.Recensione del 20 ago 2023

Pickup location was not clear and we ended up in the wrong place, having to rent a car to get to the one we originally requested. Luckily, the staff at the 2nd location was able to help us keep our original rental with minimal problems-they were exemplary!Recensione del 9 ago 2023

When we made the reservation, you booked the car by Tijuana even though I had made the reservation for the San Diego International airport. That caused quite the confusion at the counter. Why was the car booked there instead of the airport? The price was much higher than what our reservation indicated. they are now giving me a refund for the difference.Recensione del 20 giu 2023

Charged for gas but tank was full. Attendant did not want the gas receipt I offered at drop off and said “I don’t need it” when I tried to give it to him. Charged over $100 for gas. Avis has not returned emails.Recensione del 15 giu 2023

I had no idea the locations for pick-up and drop off were not at the arrival and departure airports as requested. Had to get a taxi to take from airport to the p/u location and office was closed for 30 minutes once I arrived, in a pouring down rainstorm. The car was not cleaned and the tools in the cargo area were unsecured adn rolling around on our drive. The drop off location was also offsite and I had to have a friend meet me there and give me a ride to the airport.Recensione del 6 apr 2023
