I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

Punti negativi: "The seating was absolutely HORRENDOUS. Even though I'm nearly 6'3" (close to 1.90m), I generally never complain about seating space or legroom, even on low cost flights. This particular TAP aircraft, however, despite looking quite new, had some of the most cramped seating ever. Additionally, the trays were minuscule (you could barely place the entire food tray the service during the flight, let alone have another drink at the same time on the tray). Also, on the inbound flight (this was the return one), the seats were fitted with a very simple and clever tablet-holding mechanism, so you could easily watch something on your table while eating your food (from a similarly small tray table). The seat back pockets do not have any material/fabric on the sides, so stored items could easily slip out sideways from the pocket. Shame to have such a good in flight service and to be a punctual airline if you're going to carry your passengers cramped like cattle in seats 'rivalling' the ones on Ryanair flights on 4-hour long journeys."

The new seats are hard as a rock and don't recline. Cramped is an understatement. The tray table is literally the same size as the tray itself. Did TAP build a mock up of this before production?!? You get to hold your drink and put your silverware in your lap while you eat. Food was too hot to open foil, and once opened was mediocre at best. Entertainment?!? Literally nonexistent. Well actually in the fancy seats beyond economy there is a little slot to attach a phone or tablet on the back of the seat. So your entertainment is whatever you brought. I guess the touchscreen/on demand entertainment I remember from the early 2000's is too high tech for TAP."

Punti negativi: "Inbound flight - flight got canceled from Budapest - after calling the airline and waiting in the line the 2 first lady I was talking to put me on hold and never got back to me, the 3rd lady had no idea why the flight got canceled except it was for emergency. She said next flight would be 2 days later - after calling the insurance I booked for the flight, they didn't want to reimburse for the interruption because the airline could not explain why it got canceled and i should prove that the flight was canceled - after being 6h on the phone with airline and insurance and waiting line had to hang of without solution. I had to purchase a new ticket from another airline to be able to fly on the same day back to Miami. - after arriving at the airport next morning for the other flight it turns out that Tap Portugal booked me to British Airways but they have not send me a notification email about it, so if I do not ask at the counter for Tap Portugal for the paperwork for the insurance I would never find out that i got a new flight and i would have miss it and the insurance would have never pay for it. With the new ticket i had to purchase, my travel with Tap Portugal cost me on the end around $3000, and I do not have that much money for a ticket at all, now I have a financial trouble. Thanks, never again."

The seats have very little padding and zero lumbar support, thank goodness they give you a mini pillow otherwise my back would have been so bad I wouldn't have been able to walk! I would NOT recommend Condor and will never fly them again!"

Rather than put me on another flight they rescheduled me to depart the next day from a city on the other side of the US from my original departure city and told me I would have to book my own transport to the new departure city. I spent 5 hours on the phone with them before heading to the airport where I was given a flight to the new departure city but now my nonstop flight had 2 layovers with one being 5 hours long. Luckily, this rescheduling meant I didn't take a Condor flight out. But my return flight was on a Condor plane and it was awful. Cramped seating and hot with no in-flight entertainment or the option to purchase WiFi. I will never fly Condor airlines ever again and I'd recommend anyone stay away from them."

(We are a husband and wife that were on our honeymoon). Then, once we are finally on this flight, cramped near all these strangers, we both go to find some solace in the on-board entertainment, only to find out, they only offered TWO movies free of charge. Two movies for a 10 hour flight. Seriously??? Then, we were served some on board meals, due to the duration of the flight. The food gave me food poisoning. This was by far the WORST flight experience of my life. We will NEVER be flying air Condor again. Nor, will I be referring this company to anyone."
