Several airlines have intermediate setting for meal/movie. To be 5 Star they need to keep up. The lounge (although large) could use better organizing. Too many people walking all around. Very limited space, if any, for a little quiet."

The footrest was not long enough and the feet were dangling in the air. The blanket and bedding was provided almost 3 hours after take-off Worst of all was baggage handling. Our luggage was severely damaged. The handle to the suitcases was torn off. In addition the bags and the contents were wet when we received them in Boston. IT had been raining in Istanbul and it seems the bags were left out in the open. I've been trying to get Turkish to repair the torn-off handles but I'm constantly hitting a wall. I have filed a claim but the support staff sends extremely brief denials with no explanation."

It was 5am with hoards of people waiting just to go through a tiny security because they closed the entrance for international transfers. No lines and direction whatsoever. It took two hours just to go through simple sercurity. My flight gate, number, and info to Boston was not even posted on the departure screen so I almost missed my flight- I had to go multiple times across the airport to find anyone to ask. The employees were rude and unhelpful. They did not assist or direct anyone or any of the chaos and they were slow and lacked any understanding to people whose flight was ten minutes till take off. Really unimpressed and highly considering avoiding taking them again to the Middle East in the future."

The tour that I went on was a 2.5 hour bus ride with sightseeing from the window mostly - still it was very nice. The people organizing passengers in groups for the tour in the airport however were not so nice. When I said "I have a question", the guy literally ROLLED HIS EYES at me."

I caught the attention of a different crew member and he motioned me to the front of the line--it was a little awkward saying "excuse me" to each person that I passed. (I am not used to being a priority passenger!) Once my documents were cleared and my carry-on was inspected at the gate, it was not clear whether to take a seat or to go somewhere else."

"The terminal on my ticket was different than the gate number. We went through security and had to take a 15 min shuttle to a different terminal. Why not just go through security there? There were also no attendants at the gate to discuss seat assignments. My husband and I didn’t have seats together. Try on board crew was great, but the airport experience was lacking."

We did make the connection, but we arrived at the gate with no seat assignment (we had been bumped the day before from our original flight because of a mechanical problem) as the plane was loading. Had we missed the flight, we would have had to spend the night in Detroit and go to Boston the next day. Delta should have told the gate agent that we were coming."

Chaotic boarding is compounded by the back of the plane boarding last.... everywhere else in the world loads everyone together or does the back of the plane first and it's much quicker!"

Punti positivi: "Even though we were in the very back row, we did not experience a foul smell from the restrooms. This was a very nice relief. It is bad enough that the seats don't recline and there is no window in the very back row but prior experience with the added nausea of foul restroom order has been a serious insult to injury. In this case there was really minimal odor. Also since we are traveling as a family we are very happy that we were seated together. We have experienced the past that sometimes our seats will be fragmented and that creates major challenges when you are traveling with young children. However on this particular flight the ride was rough during both takeoff and landing, a lot of side to side shimmy. Also the cabin pressure varied quite a bit during landing causing all the kids to complain about some discomfort in their ears."

Neat clean A330, friendly crew & food + beverages to brag (you pay outrageous prices on 'leaner-meaner' airlines if at all available). Loved the whole experience. Flying is not only getting from A to B & Delta has realized it. Looking forward to my next Delta flight!"

"The flights were supposed to be with SAS only, but I was mailed by United, requiring documentations for international travel. Before contacting the customer service, I thought this may have been spam/scam... However it was impossible to do an online check in from all SAS, United and Kayak websites. I was therefore forced to check in at the airport with United (again, I wouldn't have known if I had not contacted CS). What really managed to piss me off is that at the time of the check in, not only United was not able to check me in with SAS, but the first flight was also arriving in Chicago at the terminal 1,with the second departing from terminal 5! These terminals are at the opposite poles of the airport (need a shuttle, because it's impossible to walk) and I had to check in and pass through the security again, with a 1:30 hour layover on a transatlantic flight!! Furthermore, Kayak HID THESE DETAILS UNTIL I FOUND OUT AT THE CHECK IN AT THE TIME OF DEPARTURE. I was lucky enough to catch that flight, but only because there was no line at the security. In my case I wasn't traveling for tourism, but I was on my way back to my home country, on the grace period of my US visa. I think it's easy to figure out how many issues losing that flight could have caused to me... I also think this is a deeply irregular way of selling tickets and that kayak should have accounted liable for the issues I may have ran into."

When I called SAS directly, they immediately took care of the situation and handled it well, but I wasted an entire day dealing with FlyUs.com, waiting on confirmation for a flight that I was never going to receive. The whole experience was awful."

There was cafes upstairs but that was closed off to hundreds of people with a layover between flights. When asked they said it was closed off by escalater and elevator to all of us. They blocked the escalator with a giant gate sign. People waited in line at a snack for over 20 mins for a bite to eat that was express food or a choice of 5 sandwiches that came hot that actually sucked not worth the money at all. People were pissed! I was looking forward to a nice meal for my layover but that definitely did not happen! They only came around once with drinks on a 6 hour flight, then twice for coffe and tea. When I asked for a sprite they said they ran out of things completely"

This was after I explained that I had originally paid more for the tickets on their airline so I would NOT have a long layover. Worst customer service I have ever encountered."

My brother and his daughter had their seats changed, too, and they were in middle seats 14 rows apart, so she flew by herself on an international flight all by hersel! My headphones wouldn't work correctly in the double jack, only getting one side. Why change the plugs? The flight attendant said that they wouldn't work and that she would get me a headset. Two hours into the flight I finally got a headset. The male flight attendant was great, but unfortunately we were dealing with others that totally ignored my two small requests for the entire 6 hour flight. Our flight to Dublin was awesome, but this flight back was very very disappointing!! Changed my while feeling about Aer Lingus"

On board the plane though, the flight attendents arranged for my daughter and I to sit together. Really upset me that I didn't know until the very last minute, on the plane, whether I was going to be able to sit next to my child."

Movie choices were good and the individual screen was good for watching and could be paused."

The selection of food was marginal and too spicy, only the dessert was edible. Not the quality of the last trip on aer Lingus. There was a second snack sandwich although soggy and unappealing with a minimal slice of chicken."

Punti negativi: "Monitors for flight data and movies kept freezing up. Questions about seating were not answered correctly when getting boarding passes. Asking for donations for UNICEF on board. Paying for alcohol drinks, usually international flights you don't. Food was really bad. Pre declaration went on forever and couldn't get a gate number. The list could go on and on. We travel a lot, first and last time with this company. Oh and TSA people had an attitude problem. Never experienced this before."

Punti negativi: "The entertainment had a lot of options- TV shows, movies and games but none were really accessible to me as a Deaf person- no captions. and as for the game I needed a console which I could have asked for. I tried at one point but the attendants didn't help me. So I just gave up and read my book on my iPad. Also, it seemed to take forever to get my bags. I know it was a big plane and there were a lot of us waiting, but it still seemed to take longer than expected."
