One of the better airlines I have flown

No leg room

The space between chairs in economy class is so tight

A little more comfy plus no personal items given like hand wipes before food and drinks

I miss the old swiss air this new airline is not the greatest.I am swiss travel back and forth between the us and Switzerland ten times a year and I really think swiss is the bare bones of airlines thank you

It wasn’t communicated that on the layover, we needed to again have our documents checked so after waiting in long line to board, we were sent back to another documents check line and then back to the long boarding line. It wasn’t a big deal but something to mention. Once on board the crew was phenomenal. Very friendly and constantly working and serving. I don’t think they got a moments rest during the 10+ hour flight. Best service on a flight in years….hands down above & beyond Delta airlines where I have my miles awards membership. Very pleased with Swiss Air.

Since manufacturers adhere to airline baggage standards, no violations were found during checks. This misguided effort only resulted in publicly humiliating Swissair customers. Boarding process was pure pandemonium...this was the first time in recent memory, where all coach passengers were invited to board at the same time! Very inefficient! Crowded seating in coach,with ten passengers sandwiched in across Boeing 767 aircraft. Competing airlines flying identical aircraft have nine across seatings Thin seat cushions cause leg cramps after a few hours."

I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

During on boarding they communicate that because the cabin was full of hand luggage the rest of the passengers needed to dispatch their hand luggage for free. This unfortunately occurs on all companies."

It was very hard to talk to the staff most of them were just screaming "go to the line" and were not really keen to listening to what passengers had to say. I found a latam person that wasn't really dealing with this situation and managed to get him to talk to other latam staff about my visa appointment. It was pretty stressful for me to have to deal with the possibility of missing such an important event without a good reason."

This resulted in a long discussion where I was held on hold until they could adequately determine that yes i missed the flight because they held us late. This was the only way that i was able to avoid their charge to me for being a “no show.”"

Punti negativi: "Anyone who flies the route NVT-GRU knows two things. The departure and landing times are unreliable and they always....always over sell seats. Navegantes (NVT) is a very small airport but connects to so many international flights. The city and many of the neighboring towns have become vacation hotspots. I personally fly this route twice a month these days So many bad things happen because of their poor on-time results and overbooking. The worst of which is missing your connections. This was the third time in 2 months that I’ve missed my connection in São Paulo to NYC. This time I purposely took an earlier flight 6:40pm so I would have no chance to miss my 11pm flight to New York. Then a 2 hour and 20 minute delay! My God ...really? Another missed flight. GOL you CAN do BETTER! ."
