Front Desk Associates are unfriendly
Punti positivi: Car (Nissian Altima) drove well and I liked the safety features.
Punti negativi: Front Desk Employees aren’t friendly in comparison to the employees at the check in/out gate. It appeared to be an effort to provide customer service. Employees were having side conversations amongst themselves while conducting business. I wasn’t given any direction and/or preparation advice on returning car until I asked the employee at the check out gate.

Punti negativi: Customer service was not satisfactory. Made me want to cancel my reservation and go somewhere else.

Force a lot of upgrades on you. Dollar is not a discount car rental
Punti negativi: Rental location didn't have the sedan I had reserved when I went to pick up on time and forced me to rent a SUV and pay extra. They also have a weird ez pass policy where you have to pay $21 per day for ez pass transponder irrespective of how much you use it. I will never rent from Dollar again because they have too many hidden fees

Punti positivi: The rate of the rental car was beyond excellent. The car was clean and well maintained.
Punti negativi: The pick-up and drop-off process at the counter was miserable. Long wait followed by more waiting and no answers on what to do next and what car to drive.

Good rate and excellent car
Punti positivi: The Nissan Altima we chose proved to be a comfortable and reliable car for the week of driving. I was well advised at the pick-up counter to purchase the EZ-pass. With all the toll roads and bridge tolls between NYC to Philadelphia then up to Maine, I would have regretted not having the pass.

Good rate and excellent car
Punti positivi: The Nissan Altima we chose proved to be a comfortable and reliable car for the week of driving. I was well advised at the pick-up counter to purchase the EZ-pass.
