First, the rental was not ready, we had to wait about an hour to get a car. Second, they overcharged for an extra day after we dropped off the car in time. Although the time they entered as starting time was not the time we left with the rental. They stamped the time at 11:47pm but didn’t get the car until pass 12:30 am. So we had to go the office to get the 2nd day charge removed. Third, they now said the is a crack in the windshield, after 48 hours that we return the car.Recensione del 21 ago 2023

Service desk and drop off were not helpful and really didn’t care about anything but selling you insurance when you pick up the vehicle. Also they didn’t have the vehicle I ordered and told me I would have to wait around 40 min to an hour and that was only if they could find one. The vehicle I got was nice but didn’t fit our stuff causing us to take two cars instead of oneRecensione del 16 lug 2023

Checkin took nearly an hour. There were 3 or 4 agents working and 4 guys standing around watching. Not sure why it takes so long, there were lots of cars in the lot. Granted that things were busy since the Ft Lauderdale airport was closed, but why does it have to be so slow?Recensione del 15 apr 2023

We had booked a van online at Tampa international airport and when we got there we were told we didn’t but they said u must have been re-routed to a Avis agent half hour north of airport- this was terrible- then we were told we could not return it at Tampa and had to bring it back the agent or we would be charged - terrible - we should be partially compensated for out trouble DarrenRecensione del 3 mar 2023

Kayak states fee cancellation, not the case. Stood in line over 1 hour to rent a car and their systems were down along with cars not available. I left the line and Uber Ed to my destinationRecensione del 28 dic 2022

Tampa counter was very slow to process the reservation. It wasn't overly busy but their computers just seemed to take a long time to pull up any info.Recensione del 9 mag 2022

I'm an Avis Preferred Member! However, I did NOT get a Preferred vehicle! The driver's seat was filthy dirty. To make thing worse...they gave me a Budget car. I know they are the same company, however, they had HUNDREDS of automobiles. NOT HAPPY Kayak app was Great!Recensione del 28 apr 2022

Avis was closed when I arrived to pick up my rental. They didn't contact or notify me. I was left stranded without a car.Recensione del 12 apr 2022

FYI: the staff is trying to scam you the moment you walk up. The price you see on Kayak has no bearing on what they’ll try to charge you at the counter. Never using Kayak or Avis again.Recensione del 1 apr 2022
