Punti negativi: Upon returning the car in good condition, we were hit with 270 euros in unexpected charges, including 150 euros for a collision damage waiver we expressly declined at the outset. The rental itself was only 158 euros so that alone doubled the price. Enterprise said they had no ability to review the charges—they appear to have just licensed their name to a local company. Do not rent from here or expect that the Enterprise name means any kind of quality or accountability.
Always naaty suprises

Punti negativi: Whenever I rent a car I go in ready to have a battle over extra charges. How ever much research I do I know that when I go to pick it up there will be some sort of extra charge. On this occasion there was 2! Deluxe damage waiver cover, to avoid the ludicrously high excess €1800!!! In the event the car gets damaged. Thia cover cost almost as much as the car hire itself, I wasn't offered any options for level of cover, but I'm assuming as this was referred to as deluxe on my receipt there may have been other cheaper options that may have suited my needs, but no one mentioned these to me. Then secondly a €20 charge if I wanted to return the vehicle at 10pm ( as had been stated on my initial hire request that was quoted on - as there was a charge for returning the vehicle outside of normal working hours. I hate hate hate renting Cara, and it is because there are always hidden charges sold to me out of fear. An awfully customer experience, and as soon as a provider offers clear pricing up front with no surprise charges they will get my custom every time! Based on my previous experience with enterprise I don't expect any response to this feedback. Your adverts in the UK state, UK car hire with US customer expeeience. Well you live up to that in some respects; the US are masters of the extra hidden charges!!
Punti negativi: Enterprise put a Hold of several hundred euros on my wife's credit card and when the car was returned in fine condition and full of fuel I was told it would take 5 days for the hold to be lifted.

Punti negativi: The website accepted my 1-day booking from 9am to 9pm, but there was an additional after hours return charge of 20 euros paid upon return. I was definitely not informed of this upon reservation.

Punti positivi: We liked receiving a new hybrid Toyota with automatic shift. It was also convenient to the train station.
Punti negativi: We had to wait in line nearly 45 minutes to pick up the car. But once we got to check in, the representatives were very efficient and professional.

Worst check in experience
Punti negativi: It took us almost an hour to pick up our rental, even though we had booked in advance and were only the 2nd people in line when we arrived. The Florence Italy airport enterprise desk was the most inefficient check in I've ever experienced
Good car very very very poor service

Punti negativi: Office opened 90 min late. He said he had car trouble. Then it took another 45 min to get the car after the rental started because it still had to be cleaned. Filled up the tank before drop off but they park it on an incline so make sure you too it off or you will pay 50 euro for 1 liter of fuel. Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Thought Enterprise would have been better.
Long long wait to pickup car

Punti negativi: It took about an hour for the agent to process the three people's rentals in front of us. This reflects very poorly on Enterprise as a car rental company. The agent was making seemingly personal phone calls, and hand writing so much information. Photocopies of credit cards were made in addition to passports and stored in a filing cabinet that could be accessible. Maybe that's just the norm in Italy but there's no sense of schedule whatsoever there.
Took too long
Punti positivi: Once we got to the counter, it still tok another 45 minutes. Since everything was done on line I am not sure what took so darn long!! The guys were friendly but in total it was well over an hour. The price was very good!!

Punti negativi: GPS was reserved. GPS was confirmed later. No GPS available upon check in.. Driving in & out of Florence Italy was a nightmare with no GPS.

Punti negativi: Pick up took an hour. Reps are not the friendliest. No agent at drop off. Since we had to catch a flight out, we just had to leave keys with pick up agent with no final check of car.
