ACE was a decent car rental company. Their “counter” agent set up was very weird as it was iPads set up on a booth that would process your rental and they two employees roaming around. We had to wait a little bit for the car as it was still being cleaned, despite arriving at our pickup time. Check in took way too long. Lots of paperwork. Gate attendant took a ton of pictures of the car before we left. Car was clean. Turning in the car after usage was quick with no problems.Recensione del 31 ago 2023

I had reserved a mid size SUV which was not available and upgraded to a full size Durango with an onboard GPS which was wonderful for driving around the area. I was fortunate at ACE LAX to have dealt with their customer service agent named Herbert. He was very helpful in explain Ing the insurance options and getting me processed quickly. It’s a local car which is perfect for driving on an island. It looked like every other car in a parking lot which I like. I don’t like having a flashy car that stands out. Ace is a no frills setup, which allows customers to rent cars far below the cost of your typical car rental business. However, similar to super budget airlines (like Spirit), you will get what you pay for. The staff isn't particularly friendly (that's not universal - a few are wonderful) and there appears to be a bit of a culture of "customer is always wrong," which creates a bit of a hostile environment, we noticed.Recensione del 27 ago 2023
