Punti positivi: The staff was friendly even though inaccurate, the car was fine.
Punti negativi: They force you to buy crazy high insurance, are not accurate in their pricing and or car selection. None of it made any sense to me or others around me. My bills was tripled by the time I left the counter!
Punti positivi: Staff did not want to rent me a car because I did not have an "International Driver's Licence". I have rented cars in over 25 countries in 3 continents without needing that. I went across the street to Europcar and immediately rented a car with my home license.
Punti negativi: Common sense.
Punti negativi: Company processed unauthorized charges from the credit card.
Punti negativi: It took ~25 min for them to bring up the car from the garage. This was the only negative of the whole experience.

Car was great, but feel like I was taken advantage of
Punti positivi: The car was great. It was new, clean, and drove great. No complaints there at all. The ease of drop off was great also.
Punti negativi: I did not like that I was told by the agent that if the car had “one scratch on it” I would be billed for the FULL PRICE of the vehicle. Unless of course I purchased their insurance. I asked the agent three times to clarify that and her answer was the same. Period. One scratch (even if cause by luggage) and I would be responsible for the entire cost of the car. What sort of policy is that? It’s a rental car. Scratches will happen. Unfortunately, I was stuck- it was a Sunday and the other rental companies were closed. I had three teenagers and had just flown for 15 hours and taken a train to get there. I needed the car. There wasn’t a manager to discuss this with either. I ended up agreeing to the insurance because of what the agent continued to assert was their policy.
Punti positivi: Very easy to get the car and checkout was handled quickly. The staff was easy to understand and spoke English very well making the transaction smooth!
Punti negativi: The rental car location is a little out of the way, the ride to the train station is about 30 minutes.
Punti positivi: Without a GPS returning the vehicle nearly impossible at he Florence airport. No address on the return documents. Had to follow a return bus from the airport to the car return location.
Punti negativi: Documents are only in Italian. Not a clear understanding f what you are signing. Sixth in US has no affiliation with the company in Italy. It is a separate franchise. Hint: pic up full coverage on the rental vehiclle, or count the scratches and photography the body before leaving the lot. Make sure someone there signs off on any damage before you leave the lot if you don't get full coverage. $20 Euro a day for full coverage. A rip off..
Great service, great car, great experience!
Punti positivi: The people were so friendly at Sixt Milano airport. They took care of us well the whole time, bit during check-in and return. They were a little slow as a group at another company came after us and left before, but the courtesy and good service made up for it. When we asked about the limited driving zone they gave us good directions. They spoke decent English and Spanish which are the two languages we speak. They accommodated us for our luggage helping to load/unload the car and letting us park upfront near the taxis on the way out. It was a very quick return and we did not have to wait in line.
Punti negativi: A little slow at check in and a little unclear whether to park in a space to return or drive up to the tent where the outside workers were.
Kayak experience problematic
Punti positivi: Car was OK.
Punti negativi: Kayak messed this up. The company had the wrong info for the kind of car I wanted. I ended up with an automatic smart car, I wanted a manual mini. The kayak information sheet and their info were very different. My Kayak info sheet also had the wrong customer service number. Kayak really needs to make this work better. I would not use Kayak again for car rental.
