The gentleman who helped us at the desk was great. He was personable, polite, and very easy to communicate with him. Very nice guy and I would want him working for my organization. The vehicle was a compact. The car smelled of burnt marijuana. Every time we got in the car I had to open the door to have the odor clear out as best as I could.Recensione del 10 apr 2023

They delivered the car with empty tanks without telling me. It was signed as full tank on the contract, car didn’t have a notice alarm. I run out of a gas in the middle of the night, on the road between Houston and Austin. I couldn’t find anybody the take me or help me. There was a car with a topless man, he waited in the car straining at me 45 minutes. I had to call police to take me to gas station . It was horrible. The stuff was terrible, they didn't inform me it was not a cherokee. But I accepted, when I get to the car, the car was terrible, too many scratches, and no key inside the car, so I have to walk all the way back to them because nobody answered the phone. Payless was closed, so budget had to do check in. They were horrible. Lady behind counter was not helpful. Got double charged as budget did not have my prepayment, so i will have to fight that battle now. Car was dirty. Could not see out windshild. Prior occupant smoked in the car and my wife has asthma. Over all very poor experience. Will not use payless/ budget or kayak again. Too many other options to have to tolerate this experience.Recensione del 18 ott 2021

Punti positivi:The rate was very competitive. That is about all.Punti negativi:The Payless counter was closed at the IAH rental car center and they were directing Payless customers to the AVIS desk (This, mind you, was the Thursday before the Easter holiday). It took 45 minutes to an hour to get to a customer service rep. Then, they were out of the size car we ordered so they upgraded us to a small SUV.
