Thieves. You should not be allowing them on your site. I knew a car rental wouldn’t be $15 like your advertisement but the dealer said it was about $100/day. Rushed me to sign off on “just a basic agreement “. Said gas was included (didn’t want that, too late) and I could return it empty. Reading contract for return, it said gas would be charged if I didn’t fill it up (I had to) and the price became $1,500+ for 9 days. Thieves! Thieves! Thieves!Recensione del 23 feb 2023

The rental car process was generally fine. The problem was I purchased insurance coverage through kayak and then on arrival the rental car place stated that the insurance was invalid. This was a major issue given I was travelling on a budget. Instead of $130 I ended up having to spend $670 just for insurance, and that difference was over half of my total spending budget. Additionally, the staff at the rental car place were very difficult to communicate with given the language barrier.Recensione del 15 feb 2023

We paid 140 Eur in advance for the car, but it isn’t visible on the final receipt. We were told to pay a huge amount of money for the insurance - it was 3-4 times more expensive then the car itself and this price was not expected at all. We had to leave 500 usd deposit and they said that we will get it back in 4 days. 4 days has passed and the deposit is still not refunded.Recensione del 3 ott 2022

This place is a scam. The cars are ok but they offer low charges with a bait and switch for super high insurance. For 5 days they wanted $800 for 100 percent coverage and $550 for 10 percent. Further their gas policy of “like for like” is a joke. I got a car with a quarter tank of gas and 37k km. Their official picture they send later showed it full and an odometer of 9k km. The service at Europcar Cancun Airport was excellent, they were very attentive and helpful, and the car itself was great . Unfortunately there is no option to purchase insurance ahead of time online, they do not accept personal foreign insurance policies, and insurance is required in Mexico. It is the most expensive insurance I've ever seen anywhere, increasing the week long rental cost from under $100 USD to almost $900 USD!
