Punti negativi: I did not fly out that night due to the covid testing needed. We bought the ticket November 11 it did not say we needed to get tested before flying
When we went to check in there was a long line because a lot of people that was flying out did not know also about getting tested before flying
Eva employees said that this protocol started December 1st if that’s the case why didn’t they email travelers that bought tickets before December 1st
And let them know that covid19 test needed. Also at check in we were inline for 2 hours just to let us know we couldn’t fly out they should have a
Monitor saying “ ATTENTION PASSENGERS IF YOU DON’T HAVE COVID-19 TEST RESULTS IN HAND YOU CANNOT A BOARD.”
So that people didn’t half to stay in line for so long.

Punti negativi: This is not related to the flight itself, but EVA could do a better job of communicating useful information on its website. Because of covid 19, Taiwan recently banned foreigners from entering Taiwan. I was concerned that this might affect my travel plans since I needed to change planes in Taipei. A clarification of this policy on EVA's website would have been VERY helpful, especially since their phone lines were completely overwhelmed.

Punti negativi: If you are a big guy upgrade to exit row or economy plus. This is an airline that doesn’t generally serve people that are over 6’ or 200 lbs.

Punti negativi: There was absolutely no wifi even though it was advertised as a flight with wifi. Would not have minded if it was a short flight, however, flying from Asia to North America is always a long flight.

Punti negativi: I am unable to eat dairy products so I choose the vegetarian meal thinking that would be my best option however it had cheese and butter in the food so I couldn't eat most of what was served.

Punti negativi: I was very uncomfortable in my seat. I purchased a seat with more leg room but didn’t know that exit seats don’t have the same width as other seats so my hips were in the seat tight. I wish I would’ve known this before I bought the extra legroom.

Punti negativi: Seats were all apart from each other. Even with early check in the seat selection options were limited. I had to basically beg at the counter to at least seat me and my young daughter together.
