Punti negativi: Hotel provided was ok but I expected more . The wait to get to the hotel was way too long and people at airport were not helpful. There was no clear instructions on where to wait, who we were to deal with . The directions were misleading.

Punti negativi: My connecting flights were terrible. I was kept at the airport on a layover to another city and they wouldn't let me board because they said my passport number was entered wrong on the reservation. This made no sense as I had gotten off another flight on my way back home. No one at the airport in Shanghai was helpful and it was really frustrating to think that I would be stuck in China. I was finally able to track down a international supervisor who was able to print out my boarding passes and let me board my flight. Unfortunately, another family with small kids were dealing with the same issue as me only their flight was leaving in 30 mins. I hope they were able to make their flight.

Punti positivi: Dated entertainment on the inside televisions and some of the headphones and movies were hard to understand because of the audio quality. But the bottom line was I couldn’t find a cheaper flight for my trip and overall I look for savings and my airfare.
Punti negativi: Customer service from the flight crew was pretty dry, my biggest complaint though was that there was very much stagnant air quality and no ventilation at HC location like I am normally a custom on most other planes.

Punti negativi: The plane stopped at an airport between Shanghai and Kunming, which was not shown in iteneray. I got off at this airport thinking I arrived in Kunming. . I was told that I have to check in again at Kunming. When I tried to check in again, there was only one person in the entire airport checking in passengers and she spoke no English. We finally figured out what had happened and barely made it back to the plane before it departed for Kunming.

Good Flight
Punti positivi: We found an amazing deal for this flight. Overall it was good, service, entertainment, airline, etc... all was as expected.

Punti negativi: China Eastern seems to be cutting corners in Business Class - cheap headphones, significantly reduced food quality, non-functional WiFi and cabin attendants with very limited English fluency.

Punti positivi: Lie flat seats in business class are very comfortable. Got a nice 10 hour sleep on the flight across. Bathrooms are clean and clean smelling and large. Crew pleasant and efficient.
