No explanation provided for the additional charges that were automatically added to the rental agreement ,which were not required. I was simply asked to sign a lengthy document without chance to read it. A further £501.26 as been debited from my credit card without any explanation/ final invoice showing what the charges relate to. After reserving my car, taking a train from Fort Lauderdale to Miami so I could pick up a car and drive 4 hours to my flight in Orlando, then waiting an hour in line at Budget, I was told that I would need to use a credit card rather than my debit card because I "didn't pass a soft credit check." I signed a contract for $68.58. I put in all the correct info, both with Kayak and Budget. Then I got an email from Budget saying my invoice was $425.24 because I dropped it off in Tampa (which I SAID I was going to do). I had the car for 5 hours. What a rip off.
