We showed up and they didn’t have a car for us, they said they were understaffed and they didn’t have any clean cars. I saw what looked like hundreds of cars in the Sixt area, but he said he was working alone and couldn’t help us…even if I took a dirty car. Horrible experience after flying all day, landing at midnight and having a tired 5 and 8 year old. Was horrible and don’t think I’ll use them again.Recensione del 13 ago 2023

The car was reserved and when we arrived they stated they did not have the car we reserved. They only had upgrades and made us pay $125 extra plus tax because they didn’t have what we reserved. It was such a scam and we should not have had to pay all that extra money if they failed to have what we reserved. I will NEVER use them again.Recensione del 30 lug 2023

When we arrived there were many people in line at other rental providers. Our wait was minimal. We were told initially that our car was unavailable and that we would have to wait. After only a couple of minutes we were provided an upgrade that was much nicer than the mid size SUV I reserved.Recensione del 13 ott 2022

My car was upgraded from a Camry to a BMW 2022 228 Gran Coupe. Nice car but a little daunting in equipment. I had to spend some time figuring out the shift, radio, ventalation etc. If I was in a hurry it would have been frustrating, but I wasn't so it was ok.Recensione del 6 ott 2022

I was on a delayed flight to Boston and tried calling the Logan office to notify them in case I arrived past their closing time. The main Sixt line did not allow you to contact the office. Once I arrived at the rental counter, I was the 7th customer and did not get processed until an hour and fifteen minutes later. The staff at Sixt in Boston were aggressive at trying to upsell me. First they claimed that the car wouldn’t fit my family and our luggage and tried to get me to rent a bigger car for $75 per day extra. Then they claimed it would be $14 a day just to add my husband as a driver. They also were unclear about whether or not I would need a transponder but scared me about fines. I felt like I was dealing with con artists trying to squeeze every extra dollar out of me.Recensione del 9 apr 2022

We would never use SIXT rental agency again. They used aggressive used car sale tactics at the front desk, changing reservation pricing, making questions about toll pricing and insurance unnecessarily (and it seemed like purposefully) confusing. What appeared on the front end as seemingly fairly reasonable pricing on a luxury vehicle was not at all worth the hassle and headache of calling them on their tactics and getting them to adhere to the reserved pricing.Recensione del 26 ott 2021
