Punti negativi: Checking in was a nightmare of inefficiency. I couldn't use self-check-in for my bad because I was flying to America and for some reason, this meant I had to hand my suitcase to someone rather than just putting it on the conveyor belt. There were about 8 people ahead of me, and yet it took a solid hour of standing in line waiting to get to the counter. How it could possibly have been so insanely slow is beyond me. When it was finally my turn to submit my bag it literally took 30 seconds. And yet I had to wait an hour. Grade: F-

Punti negativi: Surprised to find out that there was no rock/metal playlist available within music menu, considering that Finnish artists/bands are famous worldwide and very proficient in this genre.
Punti negativi: Finnair are hellbent on trying to sell goods and continuously interrupt the movies with their confounded announcements every 15 minutes very annoying. If i wanted to buy something its in their mag and as a regional flight it should include some form of nourishment other than juice or coffee one off, tight fisted and not a descent selection of food either

Punti negativi: The passenger sitting next to me smelled REALLY bad. Like he hadn't washed himself in weeks. Other passengers around me got a whiff too and also reacted the same. I asked the main crew member from my aisle for a seat change but he came back 10 mins later saying there was nothing else available. Later when I was walking around to stretch my legs, I saw there were AT LEAST 10 seats open in the next cabin. Why lie? The entertainment system touch-screen was not working properly and the headphones kept falling out of my ear.
Punti positivi: The flight attendants were the warmest and most personable I’ve seen in a long time. All ground staff had the same amazing hospitality.
Punti negativi: Finnair A321 HEL-DXB, 6 hour flight, uses regular EuroBusiness seats (same seat as economy but blocked middle seat and better food), no wi fi , no tv, very uncomfortable aircraft.
Punti positivi: Both crews from JFK to HEL and HEL to JFK were great. Very attentive and accommodating.

Punti positivi: The crew was amazing, friendly and on-top of it. the filght was great. I was next too a large, smelly man and that affected my flight, but that was out of the airline crew's control made the flight a bit uncomfortable.
Punti negativi: Not to be seated next to a large man and a child behind me kicking my seat. Again, items out of your control. There is one item, and that is, I forgot to request a vegan food option and it would have been nice to have one last minute even though I did not request it.

Punti negativi: Our flight got delayed so American Airlines Auto switched us to a flight leaving a day later with a 17 hour layover. When I called to get it fixed I waited on hold for 30 minutes before I got through. Once we got on original flight they gave away seats we paid extra for and gave us no refund.

Punti positivi: Finnair is always perfect. Always on time, professional, clean and comfortable. They give free coffee, water and blueberry juice.

Punti positivi: Check in was simple and efficient, boarding was easy, leg space was sufficient, air hostess where polite and plane was clean prior to take off. Landing and take off both on time.
Punti negativi: Two toilets for 100+ people meant long queues for the bathroom throughout the flights. The toilets were not even once cleaned in a flight of 4 Hours, meaning that by the final hour, they were a complete utter disaster in terms of hygiene. Pilot made a complete mess of descending and landing.
Punti negativi: I was bumped off my flight and re-routed return to NYC.
Flight was supposed to depart at 10:25am and flight they put me on left 1:05 Pm and the connection was not even Finnair, but Icelandic air.
The Kayak site did not alert about extra charge for confirmed seat before I had paid in full ticket.

Punti negativi: The jack for the TV was broken! For seat 4H during my flight from Helsinki to Tokyo. I paid a business class ticket but had No audio for the television! This should be fixed immediately and I think I should receive something for the inconvenience and in return for the high price ticket I purchased!

Punti positivi: Loved the wine hour, location, access to bikes and lovely breakfast buffet! Service was super friendly, too.

Punti negativi: Seat in front of me was mostly lowered in a position that caused an uncomfortable force against my knees. My neighbor had to place his knees in my sitting area for the very same reason. Otherwise everything was great.
Punti positivi: at 6"2' the large amount of leg space on Finnair flights is amazing, even in economy class I did not feel cramped.

Punti positivi: Fell asleep and didn’t even realise. Finnair is very friendly and the staff are super nice. I was very thirsty and asked for two cups of water instead of one and the lady was not hesitant to give me two cups in quick succession. Very good air company
Punti negativi: Nothing really too bad, you get what you expected. May of been nice to have a free sandwich as it’s a non stop flight - this is because Lufthansa has one stopover and offers a free sandwich and drink.

Punti negativi: The temperature in the cabin was absurd. There were 3 people who fainted because it was an 8 hour flight, and the AC was not at an ideal temperature. I was sweating, and so was my mother. ABSURD
