Punti negativi: First of all, my flight had no option to plug my cellphone, there was no TV screen and no WiFi.. they served some loaf of bread cut in half with some spices inside and called it dinner! But the most disappointing thing is the fact is that they LOST BOTH OF MY LUGGAGE BAGS, and the most they could offer me is $50 compensation (my belongings worth thousands of dollars) And even this I would have to claim from my “home country” which is completely unreasonable as my home country isn’t the one lost my luggage, the airlines had! Beyond shocked, disappointed and aggravated, this was my first time flying this airlines and I promise you it’s the last. Won’t recommend to anyone.

Now I have to get more Covid Testing done and that will cost approx. $700 and new plane tickets. JustFly.com's customer service is misleading and deceiving. And they blocked my number.

Punti negativi: Bathrooms needed cleaning on the long trip from Addis Ababa to Houston! They were nasty because guys can’t seem to hit the hole. So there was urine on seat and on floor.
Punti positivi: When we were unable to travel due to Corona Virus restrictions, Ethiopian gave us a full refund even though we had a non-refundable ticket, and they were lovely about it when they did it. A+, hope I'll get a chance to actually fly with them soon.

Punti negativi: The boarding staff is incompetent resulting in a 2+ hour boarding time. No control or concern for boarding zones, multiple unnecessary and inconsistent ticket checks, and unclear process. If you took 300 toddlers, made 50 of them gate agents and said board an airplane, you would get about the same result. Food and crew in flight were mediocre. Entertainment system in the seat back doesn’t work, shuts off in the middle of films, and is for some reason controlled by the wrong arm rest. I was in the aisle seat, my arm rest control panel did not control anything, but every time my neighbor shifted her arm it changed the volume on my system. Ethiopian airlines is what failure looks like.

Punti negativi: Ethipian Airlines overbooked my return flight and did not offer me an alternate return flight so I could return on my designated date. They instructed me to come back the following date to fly. I was not compensated nor offered at the very least an apology. The ticketing staff was unprofessional and attempted to blame me for not flying. Do not fly Ethiopian Airlines out of Accra ever!!!

The toilets are always smelly and dirty. The floor stick with pee. Pee all over the toilets seats. Unsanitary especially when you are traveling with a child or an elderly.

Punti negativi: Travelers should be told that Gate 2 to Kumasi will be empty when you get there and that you should go around the corner to the transit area and wait for your flight there. They should let you know that they will announce the flight from the transit area.

When I told them that the power was not working in my seat and that I needed it for my CPAP (I call it my anti-snoring device), they arranged for me to move to another seat where the power worked for the CPAP. When the power did not work in the new seat for my laptop, they offered to let me charge it in a more powerful outlet near the galley.

Punti negativi: We had to transit in Addis (connecting from Dakar) and the whole experience of going through the Addis airport, getting the voucher for the hotel, and going to the hotel was horrible: it took forever going through immigration and getting a simple stamp on the voucher (the latter an unsafe experience and time consuming, with hundreds of people piled up to get those stamps from just two people, crashing again each other, with no order, no lines). Somewhat there has to be a better way to manage this and make the experience safer and more comfortable to everybody. For instance, just enforcing to stay in line and organizing the lines would have saved everybody a lot of time and effort.

Punti negativi: Every single flight (4 total) took off late and even caused us to miss a connection. On the way to Madrid from Entebbe, my luggage was mislabeled and sent to London and now is completely lost. It has been two days of a trip of having no clothes, shoes, or toiletries other than what I had on my person. And I have yet to hear from anyone with Ethiopian Airlines, only representatives from Madrid airport.
