Punti positivi: Gas mileage was great, gps was useful.
Punti negativi: We did not get the car we had signed up for. The car we wanted was automatic, but we were given standard. Two of the drivers got an IDP ($30/each) so we could drive the rental but one of us do not drive stick so it was a waste of money to get the IDP
okay, but have some places for improvement
Punti positivi: Service was friendly and helpful at pickup. Got a size upgrade for free.
Punti negativi: No map available. Turn in at Reus very hard to find, and didn't have a sign. Clerk tried to gouge us for "damage" that wasn't there, but luckily we'd purchased the insurance (don't think she knew that initially) so we were able to resolve the issue quickly.

Punti negativi: First car a/c was broken. Had a hard time contacting them, finally got a replacement— which had a tire with a slow leak.

Disaster
Punti positivi: They were courteous when I picked up the car. Spoke English well. There was not much of a wait to get service
Punti negativi: The GPS did not work well. The car would not start onthe last day of the trip and neither The Hertz office in Nice or in Spain would help. Allianz insurance would not help. The situation is still not resolved, I have spent 6 or more hours on the phone with only getting told "that I need to talk to a different Hertz office.
Terrible RIP OFF in Spain Bilbao

Punti negativi: I booked a car for 6 passengers only to be told its not big enough for our luggage.I was given a bigger car that I had to pay for. Then I was told that the car I purchased didn't include any Insurance at all and that I was liable up to 25000 Euro. in all I had to pay approx. another $450 Euro for the car. I wont waste my time on the holiday complaining and reporting this abuse of vulnerable travellers(when they don't have another choice and cancellation is not allowed) but when I get back to Sydney I will be making formal complaints

Punti positivi: The car was clean and well maintained.
Punti negativi: The pick up and drop off experience could have been better. The staff was not very knowledgable regarding local laws even though they get tourists all the time.
The rental was supposed to cost 240$ but they placed a hold of 1000$. Not sure if they are gonna remove that, or I'd have to talk to customer care to get that removed.
Drop off was exceedingly painful with no clear instructions.

Will Never Use Again
Punti positivi: Absolutely Nothing
Punti negativi: After allowing me to pay the deposit using my American Express card, I was told the day the rental was to bugin that the car rental company would not accept Amex for the bulk of the payment. I ended up having to cancel the reservation and lose my deposit. Shameful !!!!
Wasn't a pleasant experience, won't rent from them again

Punti negativi: -The car I rented broke down while driving. Neither the offic nor the road assistance responded to my calls. Putting me in a bad situation.
-they make a big deal out of returning the car without a full fuel tank.
- they don't have enough people at their counters, need to wait a lot until it's my turn.
They did not have our reservation!!!!!
