Il piatto di pollo era discreto ma un po' strano, a differenza del pollo con penne che ho mangiato durante il viaggio di ritorno, che era delizioso.
Volo a lungo raggio. Sarebbe stato utile se avessero fornito entrambi i biglietti d'imbarco, cioè includere la connessione - tutto all'interno dell'area di transito internazionale ad Auckland (cioè la base operativa)... tutte le mie altre recenti compagnie aeree (non AIR NZ) per voli a lungo raggio sono riuscite a garantire questa fluidità... L'ufficio AIR NZ era chiuso nelle prime ore dell'arrivo. Non utile. Tuttavia: esperienza complessiva decente.
I posti in premium economy e il cibo erano molto buoni, anche se il prezzo potrebbe essere più accessibile in modo da poterlo fare più spesso.
Non all'altezza dei loro standard. Dopo aver registrato il mio bagaglio e aver fatto una connessione stretta con il volo NZ 29, hanno cercato di farmi scendere dall'aereo al gate. Alla fine ho dovuto discutere per salire sull'aereo, ma il mio bagaglio è arrivato su un volo successivo. Dopo oltre 24 ore di volo e nonostante fossi un titolare di carta Platinum di Air NZ, trovarmi in questa situazione era inaccettabile.
Mi piace Air NZ, ma i posti in Premium Economy sono piuttosto vecchi. Non sono molto comodi e nemmeno molto spaziosi.
Tutto bene. Il problema era il ritardo causato dal maltempo a Houston, che ha creato ansia riguardo alla mia coincidenza con AirNZ. Non c'era nulla che United potesse fare al riguardo e, a dire il vero, il capitano ci ha tenuti molto ben informati.
problema meccanico, quindi partenza ritardata (da qui la bassa valutazione per l'imbarco) e ha fatto sì che molte persone perdessero il volo di coincidenza. Ci è voluto anche molto tempo per ricevere i nostri bagagli registrati. Fortunatamente, sono riuscito a prendere il mio con 5 minuti di anticipo, ma è stata un'esperienza stressante.
Sedili più comodi. Anche dopo un'ora di viaggio, sono molto scomodi. Applicare il limite sul numero di bagagli che i viaggiatori possono portare a bordo. Alcuni hanno fino a tre borse e occupano lo spazio delle cappelliere degli altri passeggeri.
L'equipaggio di cabina, in particolare Sandy, è stato molto gentile. Il volo è stato tranquillo e il tempo è stato ottimo per tutta la durata. Sandy merita di essere lodata per il suo atteggiamento positivo, molto competente e felice. Voto massimo.
