Punti positivi: Convenient for airport, rep was waiting at airport on our arrival . Customer was good and staff helpful. Car was of fair standard given the price paid couldn't complain.
Punti negativi: Car return process was confusing after returning car we then had drive it back to the airport and leave unlocked outside departure terminal. Wasn't happy to leave a car I had been responsible for unlocked outside the airport with the keys left under the driver's foot mat.

Car dirty and in poor condition
Punti negativi: We picked Europcar because they were apparently on airport, but this is not strictly true. They do not have a desk in the airport and have to drive you to their office, which admittedly is only just off the airport site, but you do have to wait to be taken there. It was also only after some searching around and asking at another car hire desk that we managed to find the Europcar representative. She had no sign of any kind. As is often the case, the booking procedure was slow and there were an inadequate number of staff to process the number of people waiting at a reasonable speed. We had booked a VW Polo or similar, but actually received a Nissan Pixo. I would question whether this was similar. The car itself was dirty both inside and out and had a number of scratches and dents. It was only later that we discovered that the hatchback did not work properly - the door would often drop down without warning, once hitting me on the back. After this one of us always held the door open whilst the other removed anything from the back of the car. The courtesy light also didn't work. We reported this when we returned the car, but the girl who inspected the vehicle for damage did not seem remotely interested. When we returned the car, we dropped our luggage at the airport first. As the office is off the airport site, we would recommend this, but it was just as well that we did as there was no offer to take us back to the airport. We have used Europcar in the past, but I am not sure whether we would in the future.
