Punti positivi: The guy at the drop off try to make me pay 3 days and I only use the car for one day

Punti negativi: The Medford car rental parking lot could probably use a little reconfiguring of parking spaces allotted to each company. The first signs we saw didn't even list Alamo so it was a bit of an educated guess to just keep walking until we got to our car.

Punti positivi: Comfortable and spacious car. Alamo was very easy to work with. Agreement was exactly as stated. Extended use x 1 day with no hassle.

Punti positivi: The rental agent was efficient, knowledgeable, and very friendly. It was easy to rent, find the car and return it.
Punti positivi: The Jeep handled well on the mountain curves in inclement weather, held to the road in strong wind. Visibility was good, defrost effective. We like the roomy storage area, and the back doors which opened fully. This was first Jeep either of us had driven, and we found all the panel information, buttons and levers, clearly marked and easy to use.
Punti negativi: The gas gauge did not seem to give reliable reading. We drove a major portion of our trip using, apparently, a moderate portion of available gas. The gas alarm light flashed on surprisingly soon after the gauge registered a quarter tank. We had projected our refill stop, and had to recalculate.

Punti positivi: I rented a car for my drive home to San Francisco when I got in the car there was sticky residue on the seats. Then within 5 miles of driving the oil change light appeared and continued to pop up my whole try. Was very annoyed specially because I was driving with my 7. Month old

Made reservation but couldn't get car.
Punti negativi: They accepted my reservation online but I didn't find out until I got there that they wouldn't give me a car since I don't have a credit card. I think this inflexible policy needs some work. There was literally nothing I could do so I had to go to a competitor, where they were able to help me, though it cost much due to short notice. Enterprise was a waste of a booking and I will just use the competitor in the future.

Punti negativi: The shuttle from the airport was a little bit of an unexpected inconvenience but they were super quick to pick up after calling. Could see how it would be a big pain if you were picking up/returning after hours.

Punti negativi: We needed to drop the car off in Salem at 7 pm and at noon no one could answer the phone to tell us whether they had a key drop box because it would be after hours. We were a little worried about whether we were going to be able to drop the car off.

Branch manager made up a story to why I couldnt receive my keys when I walked in the door instead of being honest and stating the car just wasn’t ready. After confronting about lie, branch manager became more and more rude. Vented to employees in customer presence. Worst management and leadership I have ever witnessed in a rental branch.

Punti negativi: Arriving at the airport, we realized Hertz is not located at the terminal like others in Medford. We called for a shuttle and were told our car would not be ready for half an hour. Shuttle driver was not anxious to help with bags. Desk manager complained the whole time about being short staffed.

Punti negativi: I picked up my car at the Medford airport. There's no signage indicating you have to go inside to pick up the rental, I just happened to walk inside after driving around the rental vehicle lot. I had booked an economy car (small size) and instead got stuck with a big gas guzzler on a 6-hour drive home. So while the initial rental was cheap, with the cost of gas it ended up being more than if I had just rented somewhere else. I was one person traveling by myself; I didn't want or need a massive SUV instead of a standard sedan and I'm not sure why an airport has so much trouble getting a variety of vehicles.

Thinking of buying one
Punti positivi: Very peppy engine. Loved the accessories, dual air control, sound system, seats safety features. Very roomy, especially back compartment, more than enough room for four passengers with luggage.
Punti negativi: There wasn't anything I disliked. However, I received a "change oil very soon" warning 1/2 way through my trip. It didn't concern me, just made me wonder if somebody missed a maintenance schedule.

Punti negativi: Vehicles were not available. Myself and 6+ others had to wait almost two hours to receive keys. I spent $300 more on a air ticket to arrive early, woke up at 3:30AM for that flight, then had to wait 2 hours to get a pre-booked rental car.... They dropped the price $40, but it was a trainwreck.
