Punti negativi: Tinted vehicle, I would not rent another vehicle from this establishment for this fact. It is irresponsible to not participate in tinting vehicle, the vehicle stands out more as it does not conform to social norms and adds a layer of unnecessary danger to a visiting driver.

Going with another Car Rental Agency next time

Punti positivi: The office was clean yet the employees were serving 3 people all at the same time, rather than prioritizing by whom was there first. Took us 1.5 hours to leave the office with a predetermined rental processed by Kayak.

Punti negativi: Slow uninformed service. We were told that we HAD to pay for insurance when our AMEX platinum covers us until they had to call the company. 1.5 hours to process the rental that was reserved and processed by Kayak with ALL of our information. Upon return, we were told that we “may be” charged for the flat tire we had to change. It just seems they are trying to make another buck at every step so be on your guard.

Punti positivi: Staff was excellent, drop off and drop in point also in good location. Near airport.

Punti negativi: I didn’t expect that the car rental price is not included insurance what makes half of price in day from car price. Total expenses was more than I was expected and any other options to don’t buy insurance and drive was not a option. So I have a question - why don’t you put already that insurance cost in day charge for the car? I felt really disappointed.

Punti negativi: No esperaba que el precio del alquiler de coches no esté incluido en el seguro, lo que hace que la mitad del precio del coche sea el día. Los gastos totales fueron más de lo que esperaba y ninguna otra opción para no comprar seguro y conducir no era una opción. Así que tengo una pregunta: ¿por qué no se añade desde el principio el costo del seguro en el precio del coche? Me sentí realmente decepcionado.

Over priced rentals!

Punti negativi: First of all, I’m not the type to leave comments but I had to this time because I don’t want anyone to be in the position I was in on their vacation/trip. Ok so my flight to Kingston, Jamaica came in a little later than was scheduled due to the weather, so one would assume that my vehicle would be ready and waiting since my scheduled pick up time. It wasn’t, and no explanation was given as to why it wasn’t. The representative at the counter took forever to process the papers, all in the meantime talking to (and about) other co-workers, answering personal cell phone calls, and text messages. That was very unprofessional. I made a reservation and ended up having to pay more than the original amount that was on my reservation. Then the vehicle I got for the amount of money I paid was in terrible conditions. All the lights on the dash would come on and off constantly. The door lights stayed on for the entire trip. I went around the vehicle, opening and ensuring that all the doors were closed, but the light remained on. I was traveling with my family, including my children and I wasn’t comfortable seeing the door light on. Another thing, the seats did not adjust. Half the seatbelts in the vehicle did not work. That vehicle should not be rented to anyone else. It’s evident that the vehicle was involved in an accident and the repairs were not well done. The ride was uncomfortable and the only thing I could think of and prayed about was that nothing would happen to my family in this vehicle before I return it. Because it sure felt like it was gonna break at any point. I will NEVER RENT FROM ACE/ISLAND RENTAL EVER AGAIN. Not even here in the U.S.

Punti positivi: I like nothing about my car rental experience. First I requested a minvan, but got a car. The cars are poorly maintain. I had to return one car to get another but there were both junks. The service was so slow you could have gone to bed and still didn't miss anything.

Punti negativi: Obviously, the condition of the cars. Making sure that what is requested is what one receive. The staff should be train to understand when one just completed a flight that maybe be long and tiresome from delays and the woes of traveling, to reach their final destination, customer wants to go!

Punti negativi: The check in took a while. The car was old and not well maintained. The headlights were not properly aligned, and so I had to drive with the high beam on during the night. The engine was not properly tuned and raced, thus using a lot of gas. The interior of the car smelt of stale smoke.

"Luxury SUV"?

Punti negativi: we've been traveling with 2 kids (both with car seats) and 3 adults on bad roads (mountains in Jamaica). For that, we wanted to have a larger, more comfortable car. We have booked car in category of "Luxury SUV" with description of "Mitsubishi Pajero or similar". What we got instead of Suzuki Vitara in a very basic configuration. No camera for reversing, no USB or bluetooth support for radio... Description and reality turned out to be two completely different things.

This was very poor service. I ordered a Toyota and was presented with

It would have been good to let me know prior that you didn’t have what I requested but instead presented with the Suzuki rubbish. In addition, I was not given the total value of the rental and was told that I had to pay in advance of US$1000.00. Budget should be ashamed of themselves as the price they charged I could have received what I wanted with your rivals.

Unfortunate Chain of Events

Punti positivi: I was actually able to rent a car from this company as Enterprise could not fill my reservation when I arrived at the airport.

Punti negativi: My initial reservation was with Enterprise. When I arrived at the airport, I was advised that no cars were available at Enterprise. I was advised that I should talk with the other rental companies to see if they could honor my reservation. NEEDLESS TO SAY, Budget was my only option. Paid more money for a car that was in terrible condition. Never again.

The staff should be train to understand when one just completed a flight that maybe be long and tiresome from delays and the woes of traveling, to reach their final destination, customer wants to go!

Punti positivi: The staff was friendly and kind

Punti negativi: The check in took a while. The car was old and not well maintained. The headlights were not properly aligned, and so I had to drive with the high beam on during the night. The engine was not properly tuned and raced, thus using a lot of gas. The interior of the car smelt of stale smoke.

Budget won't honor the type of reservation

"Luxury SUV"?

Punti negativi: we've been traveling with 2 kids (both with car seats) and 3 adults on bad roads (mountains in Jamaica). For that, we wanted to have a larger, more comfortable car. We have booked car in category of "Luxury SUV" with description of "Mitsubishi Pajero or similar". What we got instead of Suzuki Vitara in a very basic configuration. No camera for reversing, no USB or bluetooth support for radio... Description and reality turned out to be two completely different things.

Absolute disgrace

Punti positivi: The car had 4 wheels

Punti negativi: Didn’t fit 4 bags like I ordered Couldn’t adjust the direction of the interior fan (was 40c!!) 49,000 km Car at least 10 years old Performance was very sluggish ... struggling to make it over the toll road to Ocho Rios Check out was not good, claiming it “looked like I had spray painted the passenger side front panel” Will never use kayak or budget ever again

This was very poor service. I ordered a Toyota and was presented with

Punti positivi: Absolutely NOTHING except for the fact that the vehicle moved. It would have been good to let me know prior that you didn’t have what I requested but instead presented with the Suzuki rubbish. In addition, I was not given the total value of the rental and was told that I had to pay in advance of US$1000.00. Budget should be ashamed of themselves as the price they charged I could have received what I wanted with your rivals.

Unfortunate Chain of Events

Punti positivi: I was actually able to rent a car from this company as Enterprise could not fill my reservation when I arrived at the airport.

Punti negativi: My initial reservation was with Enterprise. When I arrived at the airport, I was advised that no cars were available at Enterprise. I was advised that I should talk with the other rental companies to see if they could honor my reservation. NEEDLESS TO SAY, Budget was my only option. Paid more money for a car that was in terrible condition. Never again.

Punti negativi: I was unable to locate thrifty or anyone that could direct me to get to thrifty rentals. There were no signs for thrifty where the rental cars were. I asked information in the airport and they had no knowledge of thrifty rental being located in or even near the airport. I tried racing them by the number provided and no one answered. This left me scrambling to find another place to rent from last minute which of course cost more money.

Punti negativi: No pude encontrar el ahorro ni a nadie que pudiera dirigirme a alquileres ahorradores. No había señales de que el alquiler de coches fuera un lugar muy económico. Pregunté información en el aeropuerto y no tenían conocimiento de que el alquiler de la propiedad se encuentra en o incluso cerca del aeropuerto. Intenté competir con ellos por el número proporcionado y nadie respondió. Esto me dejó luchando para encontrar otro lugar para alquilar de último minuto que, por supuesto, cuesta más dinero.
