Location for Lincoln Center was great. A few blocks of walking. Access to the hotel by car was right off of Henry Hudson to 57th st. We didn't have to make a turn on a city street. Valet parking was reasonable with validation ($25 a day)
We were the first room next to the elevators and there were some children on the floor. We learned that the doors and walls let in a lot of noise.
Location. Mice issue we had offset everything.
Mice in my bedroom. On my last day, unfortunately we had a terrible experience with 2 MICE in bedroom. Disgusting. The hotel moved us to another room and did not wave our stay- which I foubd unaceptable after such an experience.
The hotel room was very noisy. Could hear plumbing from another room and the elevator sound was extremely loud.The hotel was within easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping and theaters.
I was at the pool however was a told I had to leave because it was past check out that day. If I wanted to stay I had to pay another $100. Given I didn’t have a flight until later in the day I was told I had to leave. Not great customer service if you ask me.
AC didn’t work it made it extremely uncomfortable for everyone in the room.

I got a decently good price for a hotel room in that area. The room was spacious for a petite queen. Nice view from the room.
- Staff “accidently” charged my card $150 security deposit. - Bed was clumpy and hard but linens were soft. - No powdered milk or sugar for coffee. - Shower was ice cold and would only get “warm” when you put it on the hand written “H” that someone drew in with sharpie. - Towels had hidden brown stains. - TV wouldn’t show information so couldn’t surf channels easily. - Walls are thin and doors slam loudly, neighbors were very loud until 5AM.

If i turned the heater of the room on, I got little shocks when I touched things. Breakfast was too expensive. The person who carried our bags, didn’t handle them with care We were four in a room but they always left three towels so we had to keep calling to ask for it. The room was very cold The bathroom was very old No views of the city Very expensive room service Soap,conditioner and shampoo poor quality
They had a nice Christmas tree
Computer system crash and refused to check people in. Waited 2 hours for check in process after 3. Security tried to come into our room at 12:30 at night because they wanted to verify if somone was staying in the room?!? They didn’t knock and we thought it was an intruder. This place is old and dated and in desperate need of staff that actually cares about their job. Won’t be back
Weekend shopping trip
Watson located in a nice area and close to a Dunkin’ Donuts shop and about 12 blocks from central square. Staff very nice and professional, lobby gave it a relaxing atmosphere. Beds were very comfortable and clean including sheets, pillows and comforter. Prices paid for room was very reasonable and would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again on next trip too city.
Bathrooms need updating, very loud old style toilets. Carpets were Dirty with other people’s hair. But rooms were pretty quiet, could hardly hear outside noises.
Needs some work
That there was a rooftop pool and the rooms were good sized.
The food at the hotel was undesirable and incredibly slow. The bar staff had no knowledge of cocktails and their drinks were not handcrafted. As someone who is a bartender I have to say it starts with the food and drinks. If you are going to charge me the price of a craft cocktail it better be amazing and made from scratch! I ordered a salad that was drenched in salad dressing and was completely inedible. Now on to the pool the deck was crowded and not a lot of lounge chair space. There were about 15 chairs that were reserved but no one that reserved them was ever in them. Next to some of the vip chairs was a trash can, yuck! The pool deck was littered with nails that stuck out of the ground. If someone slipped and fell that could be a disaster. Now there was a bar that was upstairs but it was cash only which makes zero sense when you could use your card everywhere else in the hotel. I originally booked to stay 3 nights but after our first day we decided to add on another day. I paid an average of 115 for the first 3 nights but to add a fourth night it was double that. As someone that was a patron in the hotel you would think they would offer you a comparable rate but they did not and told me there was nothing they could do. Then they informed to book online through a booking website like kayak or booking.com for a better rate. Are you kidding me so now I have to take an extra step to get a better rate. How insane and backwards is that. I ended up paying 207 through kayak for the fourth night but I was pretty disappointed about that bc I wasn't about to pack up my son to move to another hotel even though i was tempted to take my business elsewhere. In this type of industry just bc the middle class does not make that much money doesn't mean that you don't want to take care of them bc we are the ones that take the time to write reviews. Every patron should matter!
