Punti positivi: They were great during the covid pandemic. We have requested a refund for the 2 nights we were unable to stay due to virus, and the fact the hotel was barely open, with only room service for food.

Punti positivi: Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are reasonably comfy and we had a sea view with patio doors that opened fully. The casino in the hotel is the main reason I like staying there.
Punti negativi: We had one little issue with a drain smell in our bathroom towards the end of our stay. Had we booked more than the one last night we had, they would have moved us to another room.

It seems more or less clean but my friend found a cockroach in the bathroom. The water wasn't hot at first when I tried to get a good shower after coming back from the beach. Punti negativi: Ci hanno “accolti” con rara maleducazione senza fornire alcuna informazione nemmeno sugli orari della colazione. Un minimo di gentilezza nel ricevere gli ospiti migliorerebbe la considerazione sui grossi difetti di questo hotel. La stanza era ripitturata malissimo con colate di vernice. I cuscini enormi e scomodissimi. La doccia, che per un viaggiatore è un momento importante della giornata aveva l’acqua calda che andava via ogni tot secondi e ti trovavi sotto la doccia fredda. Se voglio la doccia svedese me la vado a cercare nelle spa. Insonorizzazione pessima, sembrava di avere la gente in stanza. Mai più nella vita!

Punti positivi: Superb and uncluttered pool area - never a problem with beds and MASSIVE pool. Food quality was top class. Clean and Tidy in all area's. Hotel bar staff including Sofia were amazing and could do enough. Didn't travel with children but the club staff seemed happy and it was great to see them at breakfast helping the children. Pool side service to your bed was very good.
Punti negativi: Pool bar unorganised and seemed always in a mess even for one ice cream sale. Multiple receipts and paperwork so unnecessary. Sometimes they were clearly stressed and arguing with each other - but I think lack or organisation and their systems are at fault.

L'appartamento aveva una bella vista mare,ma i servizi erano pessimi.La lavatrice non funzionava,abbiamo dovuto fare la doccia con l acqua ghiacciata,abbiamo informato lo staff che ci ha risposto di aspettare 30 minuti,dopo un viaggio di una giornata per arrivare lì e dopo una sosta in spiaggia.Inoltre la caldaia davvero rumorosa non ci ha permesso di dormire.Totalmente sconsigliato. It was a very bad experience ever.Staff unfriendly and unprofessional and not helpful at all. We arrived there after a long trip,plus stop in the beach,and the shower was cold.we took shower with cold water,we informed the staff that replied to wait 30 minutes.Unvelievable!!!In the apartment washing machine didn t work, and AC outside was rusty.Not satisfied at all.

Punti positivi: Very good hotel, excellent breakfast buffet which offered different fresh juices, eggs, pancakes, fruits. Room very clean!!! The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walking distance from city center. Also available is shuttle service to Praia da Rocha. Very good location for exploring Algarve. Car garage costs us 6 EUR/day. I recommend this hotel.

Punti positivi: Gli appartamenti sono come in foto, abbastanza grandi, con un bel balcone. C'è l'aria condizionata, viene pulito ogni giorno. NOn è ubicato perfettamente...è ad 1,5 km dalla spiaggia Praia da Rocha (la più brutta ed affollata che abbiamo visto in Algarve...c'è mooolto di meglio come Praia 3 Irmaos, o Meia Praia o Praia do Vau!)...ma altrettanto dal centro storico di Portimao, comunque sono entrambi collegati con delle navette che partono dall'hotel a orari circoscritti...noi avevamo l'auto quindi non abbiamo avuto problemi nello spostarci. Si trova sempre parcheggio in uno spiazzo di fronte l'hotel. La piscina non l'abbiamo provata perchè abbiamo preferito le bellissime spiagge dei dintorni, ma sembrava ok. In generale siamo stati contenti.
Punti negativi: Appena arrivati (erano le 16:30) ci hanno detto che non la camera non era pronta!!!(nonostante il check-in è alle 14) Ci hanno detto che dovevamo aspettare fino alle 19, oppure ci offrivano un cambio con un hotel a 4 stelle a Carvoeiro. Abbiamo rifiutato e detto che aspettavamo. Mentre sistemavamo le valigie in una camera custodita per andare in spiaggia, sono venuti a chiamarci per dirci che un appartamento era stato appena "magicamente" pulito e ci hanno dato le chiavi!Comportamento un pò strano! Poi non c'era il letto matrimoniale come richiesto, ma erano 3 letti separati (eravamo in due).

Punti positivi: Purtroppo non ho gradito niente: il direttore non è stato assolutamente cortese con noi; I ns. appartamenti non erano stati puliti nonostante fossero le 19.00 (check in ore 14,00!!) ed il pagamento dell'appartamento ci è stato richiesto in anticipo prima di vedere la stanza, quando ho chiesto di vedere gli alloggi mi è stato detto in malo modo che questo sono gli accordi per I clienti booking: o pagavo subito o non mi avrebbe dato la chiave!!

Punti negativi: It was the worst hotel in all my life. All photos on booking.com page were taken in proper angles, you know what I mean. My 3-people family was only given 1 key (not a magnetic card) for the door. To enter the hotel, there should be another key,- and the lock couldn't be opened from inside. Even if someone leaves the room for shopping, someone has to leave till the entrance, and then meet him there. No soap / shampoo served. 12" CRT TV. Only 1 small aircond in living room, - to get it, a deposit of 10 EUR should be paid. Very stupid staff, very expensive bar, dirty children pool, - aweful experience. I was lucky to have a car rented thus we left early in the morning and returned late at night.

Punti negativi: No problems but there was a (happily very dead) bedbug on the countepane on the other bed. Possibly came in with the laundry because there was no sign of any others anywhere. Fridge was left closed and off so smelled musty but easily cured. Some traffic noise and little soundproofing from corridor and other guest noise but again not a real problem.

Abbiamo verificato, in due dei 4 letti, l'esistenza di insetti che, schiacciati durante il sonno, hanno lasciato tracce consistenti di sangue sulle lenzuola. Alle nostre proteste ci hanno asssegnato un appartamento con arredi più nuovi ed abbiamo presieduto alle operazioni di cambio di tutta la biancheria e di pulizia generale dell'apppartamento stesso. E' vero che la tariffa era conveniente, ma a quale prezzo? Ci aspettavamo una collocazione modesta ma certo non a quesi livelli. Speriamo bene per la nostra salute!

La struttura è in una località incantevole ma la camera da letto non è curata in alcun dettaglio . Prima notte insonne !! Il frigorifero era talmente rumoroso che sono stato costretto a staccare la spina .Faceva un pochino fresco ed ho acceso il corpo radiante a parete ,abbiamo saturato l'ambiente con un odore talmente acre da dover riaprire la porta finestra per arieggiare e raffreddare nuovamente la camera .Spenta la luce altra sorpresa,il punto luce che segnala l'uscita dalla camera (a scopo emergenza) era talmente forte che sembrava di avere un semaforo verde in camera.Sono salito su una sedia e l'ho oscurata con un indumento .A dir il vero c'erano anche due led rossi che lampeggiavano (impianto antincendio) ma sopportabili !! Il letto : cuscini alti e lenzuola non idonee per dimensione . Doccia non funzionante in quanto il deviatore sul miscelatore era inchiodato in posizione rubinetto vasca !!! La mattina successiva abbiamo elencato gli inconvenienti della camera ma sono sono intervenuti solo per oscurare il punto luce e per "inchiodare" il miscelatore su posizione doccia . AL MOMENTO BOCCIATI speriamo che per la prossima stagione corrano ai ripari !!

Punti negativi: The hotel was fine on the pictures online, but there were many problems with it. The bathroom was rusty and had limescale in many places, the toilet seat was broken and stained. The fridge was very loud and at night it was impossible to sleep with the illuminated exit sign above the door. The bedding was dirty. Cleaning was inadequate and the bed linen was not changed during the week. The card for the room door lock expires after a few days and won't open the door. Breakfast was nothing too much and terrible. Eggs and bacon are not baked enough or sometimes the bacon was over baked. Many times the coffee was gone and the staff ignored it.

Punti positivi: Il receptionist Alexandre si è dimostrato simpaticissimo e gentilissimo sin dal nostro arrivo. Sicuramente un bonus per la struttura! La colazione non è da 10, ma la discrezione dello staff in sala, la pulizia e i vassoi continuamente riempiti la rendono un piacevole momento.
Punti negativi: Essendo un 2 stelle non avevo grandi aspettative. Albergo spartano e datato ma dotato di tutto il necessario...eccetto uno stendibiancheria sul terrazzino! Impresa ardua stendere costumi e teli dopo il mare...Materassi comodi (sebbene 2 singoli uniti a formare un matrimoniale), ma la qualità del sonno è totalmente rovinata dai cuscini...

Punti positivi: The room was really confortable. The breakfast was plenty of different kind of food, we appreciate a lot. The staff is very friendly and available to any questions and requirements, they are present h24.
Punti negativi: The position is a bit far from the beach but they offer a free bus to reach the beach. If you have your car or a motobike I really suggest it.

Punti negativi: Hotel diviso in due unità. Noi eravamo nella seconda e dalla hall/reception per recarci in camera dovevamo attraversare una sorta di ponticello che collegava le due strutture, scoperto. La prima sera purtroppo pioveva.

Punti positivi: after a couple off days taking breakfast i had to go to the toilet a lot.....did not go for breakfast for a couple off days and recovered..went for breakfast again and then ill again......went in again when recovered did not take the coffee ,which was from a machine and did not take the fruit juice also from a machine and no further upset.......either coffee or fruit juice at fault

Punti positivi: Sea view is amazing. You cross the street and are at the beach. Very peaceful and quiet off season and due to Covid 19 and safe. They check the temperature of every guest and desinfect the luggage at checkin. Everybody uses masks inside. Thanks for eveything. We booked an additional night. It was wonderful to stay here.

Punti negativi: L'hotel è di fronte ad una discoteca e dalle 23 alle 5 del mattino il sonno è disturbato dalla musica a tutto volume del locale. La camera era impregnata di odore di muffa.

Punti positivi: Non conoscendo Portimao abbiamo scelto questo hotel in quanto fronte mare, ma ci siamo trovati nella zona nuova della città. affollata e piena di Hotel e residence, palazzi su palazzi. (tipo Benidorm in Spagna). Molto bella la grande spiaggia e il lungomare pieno di locali ( a chi piace il genere)
Punti negativi: struttura un po datata, necessità di un po di ristrutturazioni. odore sgradevole di detersivi da ospedale. La colazione è stata una delusione. Succhi di frutta annacquati, le brioche immangiabili e poche altre cose.

Punti positivi: Historic hotel with lots of beautiful beach around it. Grounds were impeccable and staff was always friendly and helpful. Getting ice for the backpack cooler on a daily basis would have driven anybody crazy, but everyone was so willing to make our stay enjoyable.

Punti positivi: Breakfast was good, nice choice of hot and cold things and beverages, great view as well. However the rstaurant should get other cups for coffee/tea. They are very wide and low, meaning that the coffee and tea gets cold within minutes. Taller and more narrow cups, please!
Punti negativi: The problem is parking. Finding and empty spot for the car every day is a fight and you often end quite far from the hotel.
