Punti positivi: It was ok. Rooms were a lot smaller than they seemed in the photos. Basically our room was a studio apartment. Service was a little slow, often room service wouldn't get to our room until right before dinner, but service in South Beach is slow everywhere. Really the biggest issue was the noise. Next door there is what looks from the outside to be a club and doesn't seem that loud, but the bass and music from it carries into the building and is really really really loud. I sleep like a rock and couldn't get to bed until last call two of our four nights. Maybe it's just a South Beach thing and is unavoidable, but this hotel is alot of money to not be able to sleep soundly through the night. You really can't beat the location though, and the roof pool was also great.

Had no idea when we booked it that it was so close to everything. Beach is a 1 minute walk, clubs a 2 minute walk, Burger King and Starbucks are 1 minute away, awesome shopping 5 minutes walk in both directions...

Punti positivi: The first night was a disaster. At about 5:45 p.m. I called down to report a loud fan/ motor annoying noise. They said they would send someone up. We left about 20 minutes later for a dinner reservation.When we came back later that evening it was late nothing had changed. we were to tied to do anything so we tried to go to bed. Sleep did not come for either of us easily and we were up a good part of the night. The next day I complained and the girl offered us a $50.00 credit and would move us down from the top floor in the same proximity. the noise was probably from the motors on the roof. Looking out after agreeing I saw all the fans from the building next door so I called back and said it was not acceptable. I was turned over to the Rooms manager (Emily) who was excellent we were moved closer to the front of the building, no noise good sleep a Ritz Carlton experience. First day terrible second day great. Not sure how to evaluate Sid Barish

On Kayak this looks like a beautiful luxury hotel, but quickly upon arriving you realize it only looks like that from a distance and they have an amazing photographer for their site photos.

Punti positivi: Completamente disorganizzato. Servizio terribile. Cibo e pool server sono COMPLETAMENTE ignari di qualsiasi cosa. Pesce Sandwhich aveva forse meno di un'oncia di pesce per $ 25. Pool server che cercano di gogouge si carica per l'acqua, e upselling oltre i cocktail prezzo. Siete fortunati se il cibo viene mai. La camera era bella e pulita. Non mi lascerebbero effettuare il check-in fino alle 16.00, nonostante me sia lì alle 10.00 e chiedendo il check-in anticipato. Punti positivi: We were fortunate enough to have a pool/ocean view room with a balcony. The view was gorgeous, especially in the mornings as the sun moved up. The room was small but well laid out so that it didn't feel small at all. The bathroom was well designed and appointed as was the closet. The staff was extremely friendly and although the service was somewhat continental.. we were on holiday and didn't mind things taking a bit more time. The facility has beach access behind the pool so, you're never far from the water and sand. We are actually from Miami and were looking to get a change of venue for Thanksgiving and this was ideal.

Punti positivi: I have always heard great things about the cleavleander hotel so we decided to give it a shot. I loved everything about the hotel. The pool bar is amazing and keeps going all day and all night. If you're looking for a quiet hotel, this might not be your best bet. It's a wonderful hotel and the staff were so accommodating and really nice and attentive. I would stay here again. We were in an oceanfront room and while the view was amazing, it was loud at night because of the pol bar party. The noise doesn't bother me and I was able to sleep with no problems but if you're a light sleeper you should request a quieter side of the hotel. Beautiful property and I would definitely come back!

Rooms are small but we expected this in the Art Deco area. We loved that they preserved the integrity of the old architecture. Good night life in Miami Beach, and good restaurants.

Punti positivi: This was my 4th time staying at the Clevelander and once I again it was awesome. When I arrived I was upgraded from an Oceanview Room to a Rockstar Suite which is their top of the line room. My wife and I were also given a free SOBE Lemonade while we were being checked in. The Partying starts around 5pm and goes hard until about 5am every night, so if you want to party this is the best place in South Beach to stay. Wouldn't even consider staying any where else.

Punti positivi: I am a former Miami citizen and so I am picky and savvy. The Royal Palm is simply beautiful. The furniture, flooring, light fixtures, landscaping, are well designed and maintained. My room was clean, chic, had an amazing view. Bathroom was modern and lovely. Bed and sheets were comfortable. Your stay includes beach chairs and towels and service (cocktails and food) at your chair. I felt like a queen and was treated exceptionally well by the staff at the beach. I accidentally left my grandmother's ring in my room after checkout and the bellhop mobilized the housekeeping staff to look for and find it. I am so grateful! And whoever is running this place is doing all the important things right. I am a frequent traveler and will DEFINITELY be returning to the Royal Palm Resort. Oh, and you can't beat the location...

Punti positivi: My wife and I booked this hotel through Kayak's partner Getaroom in late October. The South Beach hotels were generally booked for New Years Eve, so we were happy to have a confirmed reservation. When we arrived at the hotel in New Years Eve, we were told by the front desk staff member that it reservation didn't exist. We looked up or confirmation and confirmed that we had prepaid via credit card. The hotel staff did they could not honor our reservation as they had no rooms available and they take no responsibility for mistakes made by third party booking agencies. They recommended we try elsewhere, so my wife called other hotels and I ran around trying to find a room. We called Getaroom three times and we put in endless hold each time as they struggled with the same problem. They finally found the glitch which turned out to be a misspelling of our last name as "Wppd" instead of "Wood." No apology from the hotel or Getaroom for two hours of frantic searching for another hotel. The hotel itself was nice but lacking in staffing and amenities. Cleanliness was OK. The pool and hot tub were overrun by kids and postadolecents. Location was amazing and we were able to walk to New Years Eve celebrations in South Beach.
