Posizione molto comoda, vicino a fermata di treni (St.Pancras), tube e bus. Hotel silenzioso e pulito, personale accogliente. Colazione varia (dolce e salato) e abbondante.
Colazione da migliorare qualità prodotti Bagni da ristrutturare
Lovely 2 night stay. Friendly staff . Exceptionally clean in all areas. Great breakfast, plenty of choice. Small room but had Tea and coffee making facilities and TV in room which was great.First floor room at the back was very quiet and very comfy bed :)
No AC but knew this on booking and a fan was provided !
Feels safe for lone travellers. 24 hour reception. Helpful pleasant staff. Very clean and quiet.Good wi fi.Near the busy Euston and St Pancras stations. Bus route on 390 bus to Victoria nearby. Tottenham Court Road with lots of food franchises 10-15 minute walk away. Excellent bookshop in Gower Street which has a lower ground floor record area and a DHL carriage service to send parcels. The local post offices have poor reviews ( for service)so I used DHL instead and staff there could not be more pleasant. There was the option of breakfast at the hotel but there are plenty of eateries around. The Wellcome museum is close as is the Grant museum of Zoology and the British museum. Kings Cross is changing to a safer interesting area to explore. The shopping outlets are for the well heeled but interesting all the same. There is The House of Illustration to see there too. Pangolin is not too far away and has varied exhibitions. Not too far from Camden markets either. The hotel was quiet and streets around pleasing. Managed to find a lovely second hand shop called The Silk Road in Marchmont Street. There is also a LGBTQ shop around there. Waitrose is not far away in Brunswick Square. There is a cinema showing early screenings at Brunswick Square-it has a nice seated bar area which felt nice.
It is a grade 2 listed building so do not expect air con. The poor housekeeper kept pulling back my curtains. I was trying desperately to keep the room cool and dark but would return to find the window open and curtains opened thwarting my attempts to keep the room cool. It was stifling as a result. There is no lift. I decided to do the Xmas shopping early so lugged everything up stairs. Note that if you are on the top floor that the staircase is spiral in parts and very narrow treads-this will present difficulties for anyone with visual or balance problems
Lovely hotel in a nice quiet location, very close to transport facilities, loved the friendly atmosphere in the hotel, cute cat and dog!!!! I
