The wifi was good. Better then the one we stayed at in Anand. Great location with good breakfest. Turning on the tvs seemed a bit to complicated. I was only able to see 1 channel. Not sure if it's free or you had to pay. We only stayed 2 days there and we were busy so I didn't bother calling the hotel for help,
This hotel is close to the airport, which is only a 15-minute ride. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service from and to the terminals. I called a day ahead and the driver was waiting for us with a cleary marked sign and nice car upon arrival. A great place if you just want to chill out after a long international flight and then continue with your domestic travels within India on the next day.
It was clean and a very nice hotel at a reasonable price. It is also right next to the airport which I found to be very helpful. While it was away from the busy streets of Delhi, it was a short can ride away with less traffic than when I stayed in the heart of the city. They're room service food was pretty good as well. They're breakfast buffet was rather expensive and not very good. Given you are a bit far away from everything else, there aren't many food options so eating there is the only real option.

The comfort and commodities offered by the hotel are excellent. The location right in the centre of New Delhi is also very good.
Luxury and high level of service. rooms are very comfortable and perfectly clean, staff is very professionnal with an excellent sense of service, business center with computers access very convenient. I really enjoyed my stay at the Shangri-La Hotel
We cannot say enough positive things about our stay at the Shangri-La in Delhi. The staff was so kind through and through. In particular the bellhop Robert was crucially helpful to us when we were working through logistics to get a lot of luggage on our airplane. He also referred us to Jassray, their Airport Manager, who helped us a great deal in getting our luggage through. Their concierge also helped us track package deliveries, even before we had checked in. Everyone on the staff was so kind and the service was first class, as well as the amenities in the hotel. We are only going to stay in Shangri-Las after this experience!
Teh staff is very friendly and willing to help. The facilities are quite good as well. We tried out both Café Uno restaurant and the Oriental restaurant and enjoyed both. The rooms were clean but they did not smell very good.
The room was very clean and well appointed. Staff are extremely friendly. They are on the whole quite junior and sometimes seem to be feeling their way around their jobs, but their effort at being helpful and polite is always apparent.
Comfortable rooms and really helpful staff. The swimming pool on the roof was simply great. The booking conditions stated I only had to pay 15%vat extra. However, the price given at booking.com does not include Luxury tax and Room service tax, applicable to such hotels. The amount of taxes I actually paid was more like 25%. The early check-in procedure took about 20 minutes
The room was average and the hotel is close to a train station. Complimentary fruit platter and water. 1. The staff is not trained. even though there were 5 people at the reception desk, they could not manage 4 check-in guest. Prolonged wait as they were busy talking and doing their own things. 2. The breakfast was average - not many choices 3. Turn down service did not replace the soap or shampoo in the room 4. Check out was a hassle the list keep on going.
Bed was nice Front desk service was terrible. Arranged a shuttle to and from the airport. No one arrives to pick us up. We had to fight for over an hour to have the shuttle pick us up. When we reached the hotel the managers said for our trouble (5hours later) he would wave the fee. When we checked out they tried to charge us anyway!
Their night club staff is stupid and rude. They do not know how to speak to guests and treat them. and hotel staff is not willing to take any responsibility for their behavior saying it is a third party owned even though it's on their premises .
Shower was hot. Dirty and grimy room with stains on the furniture, ripped sheets, and filth in the corners. Frustratingly disaapointing service, time and again.
Food was great. Room was clean. AC was not working and the management said that mechanic will come tomorrow. In delhi heat, this can be a big problem.

I buoni ristoranti presenti all0interno dell'abergo. Purtoppo devo lamentare delle carenze dal parte del personale di servizio. Ho duvuto interpellare il direttore dell'albergo che si è fatto carico di risolvere il problema con il suo personale. E' impensabile che il personale di un albergi internazionale si comporti con sufficienza. Inoltre più di un ora per fare il conto dell'abergo ( eravamo in tre) no è un pò troppo avendo a disposizione dei computer?
il silenzio e la location il servizio in un hotel così di lusso deve essere impeccabile
nessuno ...il mangiare non era di mio gusto, se ordinavi qualcosa non indiano , la ricetta era sbagliata .... non ho sopportato che in un paese dove ci sono 40 gradi e più, si debba dormire con un piumino d'oca leggero a metà luglio e con l'aria condizionata al massimo !!!!! un vero controsenso , caldissimo e se poi ti scoprivi faceva freddo !!

great hotel in a busy city
I am a global traveler and spend a good amount of time in hotels. This got to be one of the worst Hotels I have seen anywhere across the globe. Five Star rating for this Hotel is a joke. To name a few terrible experiences at this place: 1) I was put up on the 5th floor. As soon as you step out of elevator you get a pungent and nauseating smell due to ongoing construction/painting activity. I am surprised that they put guests on this floor. 2) Shoddy and cheap rooms. I am sorry to say this but the fact is you do not see quality anywhere. There were stains on sheets. Blankets were terrible and I was afraid to even touch them. 3) Unprofessional staff both at main entrance and front desk checkin. At main front entrance, unprofessional staff swarm you every time you step in or out of building and I have noticed staff arguing among themselves in front of guests. 4) Lack of Rest Rooms (Bath Rooms) in common areas. There is only one small rest room in main reception checkin and restaurant area. Bottom line avoid this Hotel at all costs.
Lots of plenty to like, including spa/pool, breakfast, room/service, an especially good value for money. Location a bit further from central Delhi, but next to an interesting market and near the Lotus Temple.

Location is good; breakfast was decent with a wide selection; shopping areas are right next to the hotel. They'd try to squeeze in extra charges. I clearly noted and entered at the time of online booking (via hotels.com) correct number of people, breakfast. But they argued and insisted on extra charges. Rooms were a bit smelly but spacious

Quasi tutto, ma soprattutto la colazione. Servizio lento in camera quando ho avuto bisogno in fretta.
Il servizio e la posizione sono eccellenti. Un po' datato, ma il servizio è buono. Frittata nel salotto Club era eccezionale ma il personale è stato allungato troppo sottili. Il problema principale è che l'hotel ha bisogno di un aggiornamento importante, anche se vecchi impianti esistenti sono ancora ben mantenuto e mantenere fascino. Il servizio è stato molto buono. La sua ancora una gara tra il Taj e il Leela Palace, ma il Leela sembra più aggiornate.
