So if both bus AND plane are theoretically mobile, why then must I endure a long walk AND a long bus ride? Boarding was an hour-long event, probably due again to inefficient ground services. I don't know how does that happen, but that's what we were told. Called to board 3 times, cancelled twice. On my way to Bangkok the plane was late by an hour to the transfer to Moscow's SVO, they taxi's us to the furthest part of the airport and then the bus took about 15 minutes to get us to the terminal. Inside at the transfer gate one officer and about 150 people waiting to be checked. I had to cut the line to reach my flight. Horrible experience, and talking to others who use Aeroflot, I was told this wasn't the first case, but certainly the worst they have seen so far. Avoid this company and maybe even SVO airport as well."

I wish I would have gotten my Russian transit visa prior to my trip. I knew about it, I just didn't want to pay the $200. SVO airport is great and open 24hr, but having a 20hr layover is tough. p.s. Don't let a hotel/Airbnb tell you you don't need a visa - you do! I watched 2 girls have meltdowns in the airport because they had hotel reservations, but no visas. Sad, wet eyes does nothing for Russian airport officials."

"Positive: The flight was on time, which is quite a rarity, especially for low-cost carriers. The flight attendants "upgraded" me to an extra legroom seat (although it was more for practical reasons, as they needed someone by the emergency exit). Negative: In full Covid-19 pandemic wave, most of the passengers were checked for boarding, but instead of either being allowed to directly board the plane or at least to wait in front of the boarding gate at a relatively safe distance, everyone was crammed into a tiny space between the boarding desk and the actual gate. I'm not sure I wouldn't been comfortable being piled together with 150 other people in a little over 50sqm in "normal" times, let alone during a pandemic. Also, despite the plane only being at around 2/3 capacity and most of the extra legroom seats being unoccupied, the flight attendants were very reluctant to allow a fellow travel companion to sit in the same extra legroom row with me, because "these seats cost more than the regular seats", which I thought was very petty (regardless of whether it was company policy or the attendants' own rigid attitude towards the situation)."
