TRS Turquesa Hotel - Adults Only

This is a medium resort within a huge group of resorts so there is a lot to eat, drink and do. The staff are super nice and helpful. You'll get a butler service and maid service twice a day. Beach was awesome, they did a good job of cleaning the seaweed, there was tons of loungers and umbrellas to fit everyone. They had some free water sports like kayaks and snorkling. They also had quite a few pools 2 of them adult-only. The pools had a swim up bar which was great and sometimes live music or a small show in the afternoon. Drinks and cocktails were great in the main resort, you get better than average all-inclusive stuff like cocktails made from scratch and decent wine / spirits. They also had a special cocktail magician in the lobby in the evenings to make fancy smoked cocktails for guest while also doing fancy moves. They were really great. Dinners in a la carte restaurants were usually excellent. Lunch was hit an miss, buffets were not great, usually with cold-ish food but some a la carte options were great (e.g. cowboy steak). And yes, you could have a la carte lunch and breakfast + take a look at the buffet in this resort (usually that's not the case in all-inclusives). You also get lobster for dinner included which is not the case for other resorts in this group. We also got free tickets to their cabaret with fancy dinner and an excellent show. There was also a music show pretty much every night and then disco for after hours. There were other small entertainment programs like rum tasting, hand waxing, etc. here and there.

The travel club people constantly harassing you as soon as you come close to the lobby during the day. One of them called us 9:00 AM in the morning in our room which I consider a violation of privacy, the hotel shouldn't have allowed them to call us. Other than that, the buffet lunch could be better but that's all.

We had an amazing stay at TRS, words cannot describe how wonderful our week was. The whole staff was incredible and geared towards attending all your needs. The hotel was great, from the facilities, to the pools, the beach access, the food, the drinks, the activities. What I truly enjoyed was the sense of space, that is, this is not you typical huge building resort. There was so much garden surrounding the rooms. The hotel does have a romantic vibe. The fact the hotel is within a walking distance from the other Palladium hotels is also a huge advantage, if you wish to stay within the resort complex. Also note, we stayed in a Junior Swim Up Suite which I highly recommend!
