Majestic Mirage Punta Cana

E' un resort 5 stelle e questo talvolta si vede, altre volte no. Lo staff per esempio è molto molto gentile e disponibile, ma molti di loro sono dei dilettanti. Potrei fare moltissimi esempi come che si scordano di portarti le posate con il cibo del servizio in camera (tre giorni di fila) o si dimenticano di levarti i piatti e il posacenere sporco quando rifanno la camera. Tutta una serie di dettagli che però in un 5 stelle fanno la differenza. La struttura è notevole, gli animatori sono bravissimi e super discreti cioè riescono a farti divertire senza essere mai invadenti. Il ristorante giapponese Kabuki e quello in riva al mare Seafood sono molto buoni. L'applicazione con cui gestire le prenotazioni e il room service è geniale.

Manca qualcuno che appena arrivato ti spieghi le cose. La struttura ha un potenziale notevole, ma appena arrivi ti accompagnano in camera, ti illustrano quattro cavolate e ti danno una busta con le chiavi e la piantina del resort. Fine. Potrebbero dire che se vado al mare ho incluso nel prezzo l'utilizzo del catamarano, del windsurf e della maschera e boccaglio o che se voglio mangiare negli altri ristoranti degli altri 2 resort collegati (elegance e colonial) posso farlo previa prenotazione. Il lato positivo è che aumentano il piacere della scoperta perchè il posto è veramente molto bello. Camera ottima, mai umida e ben attrezzata. Il periodo ci ha permesso di dormire tranquillamente con la finestra aperta. Abbiamo riscontrato che il mare è, come ho letto nelle altre recensioni, pieno di alghe. Passeggiando però lungo la costa ho notato che non dipende solo dalla posizione, perchè in altri giorni le alghe erano davanti ad altri resort e davanti al mirage era tutto libero. Per cui è proprio una caratteristica della zona. Il campo da golf è tenuto molto molto molto bene, ma poco stimolante, molto facile.

It was one of the best vacations for our family. The first great is the check in process. So relaxing, they sit you in a room and they take care of everything while you eat a snack or have a drink. Then they take you to your room: The family room is huge, comfortable and has everything. Bathrooms and room are tidy and spotless. You have a Jacuzzi, balcony with a view that wants you to take a picture every 5 minutes. Every restaurant is very good (yes we tried them all) some of them require reservations and they will let you know and book for you during the checking or later. And the best of all: You have a butler. Our butler was Ramon, He really made our stay bump less. He took care of every detail, reservations, made sure the minimum detail was covered. He was on the spot every time, give you the impression he worked 24 hours. Ramon and the team in Majestic Mirage take your well being as something personal for them. They will take no rest until all your requests are covered. Regarding the beach and the swimming pool, even though we always arrived late for the beach, we found a spot always, with help from Ramon and the beach team in Majestic. There was always a free spot in the swimming pool even when the hotel was full. Every person that serves you in this hotel makes an extra effort to make you stay better. And during my wife birthday, they made a cake and had a small party (During breakfast and also during dinner: yest two small parties and cake (By the way very good cake): thank you Ramon and the team for this. Also they decorated our room (as a surprise) for my wife birthday: Thank you again Ramon and Majestic Mirage team. Unforgettable. WE could not find any issue here. The beach shades were full but they always managed to find a spot for us with help from our butler Ramon and the Majestic Mirage Beach team.
