Punti positivi: Very good breakfast choice of standard and interesting Portuguese items laid out for self-service. Lack of communication meant missing out on the egg dishes made to order on the first morning but corrected later in the stay. The junior suite was a nicely-sized arrangement with a superb shower room, and at a reasonable price. Old town location was excellent but don't rely too much on free or even bought city maps until you under stand that a Lisbon street may really be a flight of stairs or an alleyway. The reception staff were laid back, not in a supercilious 'We are busy' way, just rather inobtrusive. Joining a day trip at another Old Town hotel we were greeted ebulliently by reception and offered free coffee and a bun. I recommended the Tesouro da Baixa to some friends for around Easter but unfortunately the seasonal price rise has sent them elsewhere.

Punti negativi: The boutique aspect was a bit underwhelming personally. I have a duplicate of one of the 1930s typewriters in the hallways and chucked out another 1970s machine I once used. Unfortunately I also belong to the age group that needs instructions for a capsule coffee machine that swallowed a capsule and that was that. Quite why the only hanging space was in the lounge and not in the bedroom was unclear unless it was too make room for the boutique-style furniture.

Punti positivi: Struttura in posizione centralissima, ma comunque estremamente tranquilla, tutti gli alloggi sono intorno a uno splendido patio dove è possibile rilassarsi in qualsiasi momento della giornata. Staff gentilissimo, sempre sorridenti e pronti a dare qualsiasi consiglio! La colazione è ottima e abbondante, buffet dolce e salato e uova cucinate al momento tutte le mattine! Camere molto confortevoli.

One of the famous viewpoints is just 3 minutes walk away. Close to the 28 tram stop and to the Elevador da Bica. Chillfull evening walks. Everyday cleaning service. We would recommend them and we would stay there again.

Punti positivi: La struttura si sviluppa intorno ad un patio carinissimo (peccato non averlo sfruttato perché inverno!) e si trova nel barrio alto, in posizione abbastanza comoda per raggiungere qualsiasi destinazione. Camera molto spaziosa e con tutto l’essenziale, anche se dal bagno ogni tanto arrivava un po’ un cattivo odore. La colazione è ottima e per niente banale con prodotti freschi e diversi ogni giorno, cucinati sul momento sia dolci che salati! Una menzione particolare per Bruna, sempre sorridente e pronta a rispondere ad ogni nostra domanda o esigenza.

Punti negativi: Traveling as a solo female, I was not happy with the location because it's not convenient; it's a little hidden back in a neighborhood where Uber is not allowed (historic district). This meant I had to use taxis (less convenient) or walk a few blocks to catch my Uber, many times alone late at night. Also, this is not right near a Metro stop. There were several maintenance issues that went unresolved during my stay & I used their pre-paid service to schedule a taxi for my early morning airport pick up, but the taxi did not show up.

Punti negativi: The apartments are in the quite old building and mixed with local tenants. We could hear our neighbours child from the level above playing on the wooden floors. But we understand that our accommodation owners cannot do much about this.

Front desk extremely friendly. The room was so unique with a very small terrace with a view of the city. Rooms newly renovated .Location excellent. Unfortunately, the coronavirsus was on Portugal's doorstep. Next day everything shut down. We had asked for a taxi pickup early the next day. Yes, the taxi was there as promised. For those who enjoy small boutique hotels, this is the answer.

Punti positivi: This place is spacious. Everything was nice and clean. No hassle whatsoever.Breakfast was not served cos of covid 19. There is bakery just at the entrance which is open and a shop where you can buy everything. Many Restaurants around but they were closed due to Covid 19. So we got food delivered. Overall very good place to stay.

Colazione ottima e ricca, musica piacevole soprattutto jazz e swing. Personale molto gentile ed attento alle necessità degli ospiti. La doccia molto confortevole ed il letto comodo.

Punti positivi: Casa das Jenelas com Vista is ina great location, from which it is easy to explore the city on foot. Very friendly and helpful staff. A lovely breakfast, buffet style but you can ask for eggs to be cooked. The room was clean and comfortable.
Punti negativi: Only a very small thing, but tea/coffee facilities in the room would be good. There are facilities in the communal area and you can take drinks back to your room, but personally I like the ability to have coffee before going for breakfast. Like I say a small thing.

Punti positivi: I don’t think my husband or I had a lovelier experience with accommodation. The guesthouse was at amazing location (2 minutes walk from literally everything - all transportation, Time Out market was across the street, Bairro alto, Alfama, Chiado neighbourhoods all a short walk away...). The neighborhood is safe also. And the accommodation - from the moment we arrived till we left - only friendly faces and kindness. The room was amazing, spotlessly clean, bright and spacious. We were actually on the first floor but there is a market across the street and it was a bit noisy in 5am when the trucks come with groceries and unload. I am really sensitive to sound so we asked for a room change and the staff just worked everything out and switched our room for a one on a higher floor - they were so nice and understanding about it. Also the staff speaks English and French and can give you so much helpful info on things you may want to go and see. And of course the breakfast - apart from a buffet with lots of choices, every morning they bring you fresh orange juice and eggs how you like them. All in all - amazing experience that made our stay at Lisbon perfect! Thank you for everything guys, if we ever come back to Lisboa you are our first and only choice! :)

Personale gentile e pronto a darci informazioni, siamo partiti questa mattina alle 6 e ci hanno fatto trovare un pacchettino da viaggio con frutta, ,dolce e tramezzino per il rientro. Situato a pochi passi dal centro, la piazza del commercio raggiubile in 10 minuti a piedi lungo fiume, fermata metro proprio a pochi metri dalla struttura, siamo stati molto bene. Punti negativi: This isn’t a “didn’t like” but simply some advice. There is a lively market across the street that is open late (4am on Saturday) and it’s pretty loud. To counter that, the windows have EXCELLENT sound proofing but for light aleepers, maybe a room facing away from the market would be smart. Lisbon is a great city for rolling with whatever’s happening.

Punti positivi: La posizione della struttura è ottima, seppur lontana dal centro, dista pochi metri dalla metropolitana e dalle fermate di autobus e treni. Abbiamo soggiornato nella suite con bagno privato e la camera è spaziosa e pulita. Le colazioni sono state ottime e abbondanti, sia dolci che salate. Lo Staff è stato impeccabile, davvero gentili e sempre disponibili a scambiare due parole per aiutarti a programmare al meglio il soggiorno, non possiamo fare altro che consigliare vivamente questa struttura. In grazie di cuore a Alexandra, Ruth e Manuel, grazie anche per il regalo che non ho potuto portare con me, ma il pensiero è quello che conta.

The decor is beautiful and clean, and very cosy. Breakfast included bread, ham, cheese, croissants, fruit, coffee, juice, teas and cereal. The location is great if you buy a metro ticket for around £6 every day, you can access most parts of Lisboa. The location is safe and near to shops. This accommodation is fantastic value for money.

Punti positivi: Il b&b si trova al quarto piano di un palazzo che affaccia direttamente su Campo Pequeno, la posizione è comoda perché si trova vicino alla stazione metro Campo Pequeno e alla fermata di 7 linee di bus (di cui una che porta direttamente a Belém) e vicino alla stazione di Entrecampos (dove è possibile prendere il treno per Sintra). Lo staff è molto cordiale, gentile e disponibile, ottimo avere un host che ti consegna una mappa della città e ti da utili informazioni su cosa visitare e come muoversi. L’ambiente è moderno, ben arredato e funzionale. Interessante che abbiano arredato l’ambiente con opere di artisti locali, piacevole stare in un b&b dove l’architettura, l’arredo e la vista rilassino e ti facciano sentire a casa. La sala comune possiede un microonde, frigorifero ed bollitore, inoltre avrete possibilità di passare del tempo tra cataloghi d’arte da sfogliare e giochi di società. Io ho alloggiato nella suite con bagno privato e balcone con tavolino.

I phoned immediately when we arrived at our next destination. They had already tried to contact us. Long story short - they took care of packaging the items, going to the post office to expedite the mailing of the items and we received all items the next day. We are extremely grateful for their efficiency and kindnesses in keeping us informed every step of the way. They even took pictures of our passports and charge cards and emailed them to me. I phoned immediately when we arrived at our next destination. They had already tried to contact us. Noi poi avevamo la stanza accanto alla sala colazioni e dalle 8 alle 10.30 (orario colazione) il rumore era fastidiosissimo.

Punti negativi: Toilet and shower room were very small. A larger person would struggle to get in and close the door. We were woken by an alarm by our window at 3.30 am so are very tired. There was lots of banging at the hotel before 8am today.

Punti negativi: The room was tiny. You couldn’t even open the wardrobe drawers because you couldn’t open the doors fully as it hit the tv. The bathroom door was broken and didn’t close. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly when we arrived and there wasn't any toilet roll. The toilet broke on the first day and wouldn’t stop flushing. The room was not sound proof - we were next to the lift and the room above was very noisy. We were woken up at 7am by loud talking every morning. There were road works going on outside the hotel we were not notified about. When we complained about this and asked for a new room / our money back to find a different hotel, the reception said they couldn’t do anything that night as the hotel was full and we couldn’t get a refund. They said they’d get back to us and never did.

Reception quasi invisibile , non esiste una hall e l’albergo per quanto caratteristico rimane stretto , buio e cupo . L’unica richiesta fatta al momento della prenotazione era avere due letti singoli invece mi è stato dato un letto matrimoniale e nonostante l’osservazione non mi è stata cambiata la stanza .

Punti positivi: I liked my room very much. If you want a room with a terrace, choose the top floor. It's on the 4th floor with a view of the dining scene below (very vibrant at night). The reception has the best view though, on the third floor. It faces the National Theatre Square that is buzzing with tourists. Overlooking the flower shops and a fountain in the square, some rooms on the third floor face this view. During breakfast, I sat at the table by the window and spent some time watching the world go by. When I stayed here, the 4th floor was very quiet, I felt the whole apartment was for myself. I could hear the music and the chatter of people below. Just when I thought people in the city don't sleep, at 12 midnight it started to get so quiet. It felt like I was not in the city at all. The location is the best. It is in the center of everything. Again, it's in the middle of everything. The breakfast is pretty decent and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I'd love to come back and stay again.

Punti positivi: La posizione è perfetta, non si può sperare di meglio. Il letto è molto comodo e la camera è spaziosa. Noi abbiamo dormito nella matrimoniale con bagno privato. Il bagno è piccolissimo ma l'acqua è calda e non mancano bagnoschiuma e shampoo. In dotazione due asciugamani. Una stufetta non era funzionante ed è stata immediatamente sostituita appena segnalato. Staff gentile, ci hanno lasciato la camera anche il giorno del checkout perché non avevano urgenza di pulirla dunque abbiamo lasciato lì le nostre valigie e prima di partire per l'aeroporto siamo passati a prenderle. Colazione dolce con pane e marmellata o salata con prosciutto e formaggio. Tè e caffè a volontà.

You can walk to the railway stations to go to Sintra and Cascais as well as to Alfama, and other sights. Also the owner allowed us to come to the room after the checkout as we had a late flight.

Punti negativi: Non mi è piaciuta la camera, molto poverina, appena i letti singoli,uno stendino per i vestiti e un mobiletto d appoggio,ho fatto l esperienza del bagno in comune che, sinceramente, ci penserò se rifarla, perché è complicato,come si può immaginare...ma tutto questo è stato ripagato per la posizione stupenda,la finestra della sala si affaccia in piazza Rossio , quindi se ritornerò a Lisbona prenoterò ancora qui ...per due o tre notti si più sopportare qualche disagio

Punti positivi: La posizione è perfetta, non si può sperare di meglio. Il letto è molto comodo e la camera è spaziosa. Noi abbiamo dormito nella matrimoniale con bagno privato. Il bagno è piccolissimo ma l'acqua è calda e non mancano bagnoschiuma e shampoo. In dotazione due asciugamani. Una stufetta non era funzionante ed è stata immediatamente sostituita appena segnalato. Staff gentile, ci hanno lasciato la camera anche il giorno del checkout perché non avevano urgenza di pulirla dunque abbiamo lasciato lì le nostre valigie e prima di partire per l'aeroporto siamo passati a prenderle. Colazione dolce con pane e marmellata o salata con prosciutto e formaggio. Tè e caffè a volontà.

Punti negativi: Purtroppo stavamo al 4 piano senza ascensore, ma ne eravamo consapevoli della mancanza dell'ascensore. Il bagno lasciava un po' a desiderare, il lavandino si trovava vicino a una finestra grande e non essendoci la tenda ci siamo dovuti arrangiare per cercare di coprire il vetro. Ovviamente però per il prezzo pagato non potevamo aspettarci molto.

Punti negativi: Please change those pillows... they're absolutely uncomfortable and since I know I'm paying for the location and at least a good night's sleep, the pillows are an absolute must. Otherwise it defeats the scope to use this guesthouse for the location and just sleep. They gave us extra pillows when we requested them.
